I must admit after reading a story i just want to say that i liked it so much . it so much harder to say what you didn't like. as for voting i think maybe people just think oh well it's just a number and us writer's are always more interested in words. I did a creative writing course last year with the Open University and don't think some people where keen to hear whats bad about their writing. I think all comments are ok good or bad you can learn from it all, thats if your serious about being a writer.

Me being English I have no idea what ramen noodles are haha I watched a film last week and thought what the hell are tootsie rolls haha. I have to say my fave snacks at night time after a few can's of Foster's are either a tin of bolognaise meatballs or philadelphia and cucumber without the green skin, or if i had a man i would eat him all up all night haha LOL

Yeah nice one Chefkathleen I totally agree with you, you can't keep a good B down she has to much inner confidence inside and always stands up for who she is.

I think if you are writing you should really make sure there are no spelling mistakes at all, its makes for miss-understanding when your reading someone else's story. Make sure you read outloud all your own work. I have been doing a couple of creative writing course with the Open University and I love words and I always make sure all my words are correct. Grammer is my downfall it just hasn't sunk it yet. My funniest words I mixed up when describing a beach in a story I typed beech as in the tree I'll never forget that one. There's so many words that sound the same but are spelt so different. But when I'm writing a first draft of a story I do away with grammer and punctuation so I can let my creative juices flow.

I'm so grateful to have come across Lush its more than story reading its a place where I can find resources to improve my writing. I have never understood grammar all that great, I either out too many or too little commas in a story and as for all the other symbols that go with grammar its like a whole new game of instructions.

Didn't realise so many of you guys and gals where from America. Me near Manchester England its been minus 2 today and it's been snowing walked to Tesco's brrrrrrrrrrrrrr so cold that wind, apparently more snow is on it's way great haha.

Ohh there all so funny, the pole pictures in Paris very good idea. why don't we have anything like that in the UK. Love the bags as well brilliant.
