I've been on the road of life for awhile and am still learning new stuff about people each day. Retired ... for second time Dec. 2012 ... and enjoying it.Even though I'm one of the "mature" folk around, I still try to remember what it was like when I was "your" age and relate to it. I am not really interested in random cyber stuff. I MUST have some sort of mental / emotional connection. I try to be a gentleman at all times.My motto in life is: The "difficult" is no problem ... the "impossible" just takes a little longer".Stories I have written are fantasy / fiction with maybe a little bit of the "real me" thrown in. My poems are pretty much reflective of very personal thoughts, feelings, and emotions at the time written. As so many people are apt to write in these profiles..."if you want to know more, just ask".

We are having a slow day on the ‘big road’ due to the usual traffic snarls along the Interstate highway. My favorite truckstop is just ahead 3 miles down the road.
