A setting such as this is, in my opinion, not necessary and not conducive to fostering a community that encourages others to voice their opinions. If you are given the option to remove comments, why is it further necessary for someone have to "put up or shut up?" Not everyone in this community are writers , nor should we require them to be. I would say more on this, but my filter works just fine, some things are just not meant to be said.

If the option to remove comments is given, I won't use it. If a negative comment is given to one of my stories, and is unwarranted, who looks like the fool? If it is warranted, then I will learn from it and move on. I'm a big girl and learning should never end.

Before I ever published a story on Lush I had already received my commentator and electorate badges. Now that I have published a few stories, I don't think my comments are any more profound/better, because I've actually written something. Just don't see it.

Is this really that big of an issue? We've all received negative/comments, but the overwhelming amount of comments have been more than positive. Any time you create something and put it out there for people to judge, you will have your critics. I don't care if you are a famous writer or artist, there will always be someone who doesn't like your work for whatever reason including that they woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day or didn't like your forum post. If you're going to let those few negative people hold you back, I guess you don't have enough conviction in your own work.

Hey Curly I agree I have silicone ones, as a lot of toys, but I've discovered they are a bitch to store, those toys don't like each other, when placed together they discolour and degrade, nature of the chemicals.
