Topic Gay Rights in Sochi, Russia- Boycott or Protest?
Posted 13 Aug 2013 04:25

Edward Snowden, sir. And that man is a patriot. In this matter, Obama deserves to be trolled on a worldwide stage, as Putin is currently doing to him. We can only hope Vlad does him a real solid and helps him get somewhere on a permanent basis, in or out of Russia.

My bad. Have no clue where I got John from. I'm blaming the painkillers. Regardless, the producers will be under such heavy censorship that any hope we have of seeing protests will be through foreign media that isn't controlled by Vlad. And do you really think they'll give much time when they can bring you news about how awesome your country is and how annoyed the rest are? Human rights violaton abroad is a quick story. Sad, but true.

Coke. Coke is the thing. It's the stuff.

Pepsi is the heretic little brother of coke that broke out from the family and started whoring around for money and lost all it's dignity in the process until it became best friends with eco terrorists. If you drink Pepsi, you support terrorism. It's a fact.

Topic Gay Rights in Sochi, Russia- Boycott or Protest?
Posted 09 Aug 2013 19:57

Boycot or no boycot, Putin won't really give a shit. That's the sad truth of it. This is the man that OK'd a political asylum to John Snowden and practically gave Obama the finger and laughed. He has made sure that a shitload of money(including all the bribes to IOC) have been spent in Sochi and nothing anyone can do will stop him from having his olympics, because to him that's what they are; his olympics.

If a boycot was done by countries then it would probably piss off the athletes more than Putin. Imagine USA boycotting. Maybe they'd get a few countries with them, but the rest wouldn't really care. More medals to them. The US athletes that don't give a crap might start wondering if they should let politics rule their chance of getting olympic medals.

Let the politicians and civil rights group deal with those issues. These athletes plan years ahead for this event. This isn't their job. The amount of time that goes into making sure they are top level makes this their life. I think it is unfair that we demand that these athletes give up their dreams just because a bunch of retarded politicians have passed a law that will be removed in a short time. Russia is changing and change will come before we know it.

If your boyfriend snores badly then ask him if he can sleep on his side or stomach. Usually snoring is due to sleeping on their back and chest pressing down and stuff like that. If that doesn't work ask him to see a doctor. Maybe he has a medical problem that can be fixed with a small surgery. Should he get offended by this then I say dump him. If they get upset by something as simple as snoring just imagine how it's gonna be when something big comes up.

Topic Pope Francis on Gays - "Who am I to judge?"
Posted 06 Aug 2013 06:07

Let's change the quote a bit.

If someone is a serial killer and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?

See what I did there? It's not about "Gay people are alright" it's all about seeking abolition for your sins, and that God will accept every sinner as long as they regret their sins. Pope Francis lashed out rather hard against gay marriages when he was a cardinal and I doubt he's changed his stance on it in the short time he's been Pope. Does anyone really believe that if it had been known he was ok with gays that he'd been elected? I'm betting the Catholic church is like any parliment around the world; you may have your dirty secrets hidden from the public, but if you secretly support gays the other members will know about it. Not to mention since most of the high ranking catholics are still anti-gay then he'd run a huge risk of compromising the Catholic church with a statement like that. I don't believe the pope accepting gays until he sits in his chair and proclaiming that what he says to be the truth from God and then says gays are ok. Until then I'm afraid we're stuck with a gay hating church.

Fart sex is a new one. Never heard of it before. I would love to know how these fetishes get started.

A long time ago a mate sent me a link to a video of a bunch of girls farting in each other's faces. You could hear the farting and see the women's hair flow. It was more bizarre and weird than disgusting. And rather funny

Topic Plateaus....

You making sure you get enough calories in your diet? Living a very active lifestyle requires a lot more calories than a less active person. Seeing as you do a lot of work out almost every day you need tp maintain a healthy level of intake so your body actually starts using energy and burning calories. Training isn't all about running, it's about eating the right amount as well.

If you don't eat enough your body will just shut down and save energy. End result is that doing the same runs will take more time or you'll run less before you're knackered.

Another thing could be how long you've had your old starting weight. If you've been X lbs for a long enough time then your body will actually do what it can to maintain that weight. If that's the case then basically it's more about stubbornness and doing it long enough for your body to give up and go "alright, I'll lose some more weight then!"

Topic Which is hotter.. first kiss or first fuck?
Posted 13 Jul 2013 14:49

The first thing that hit me with the first proper kiss was I got relaxed and relieved. That things were actually going as well, maybe even better, as I had dreamed of. That and the feeling that everything was just right.

First fuck was sort of the ultimate confirmation of the above. I'd rate them as just as hot, just on different levels. To me they're like comparing apples and pears.

Topic Cybering?
Posted 07 Jul 2013 11:07

To me cybering is basically just like you're sharing a fantasy with someone else. It's basically like you're both writing a story, just that you're not quite sure where it's gonna go. But, it has to be good. Cybering won't be anything near pleasing if the girl writes something along these lines

"I suck your cock."
"I fondle your balls"
"I spread my legs and let you fuck me."
"I cum"

If that's as interesting as it gets then I don't blame you for being bored. Personally I don't sit and stroke it there and then usually, more often than not I stick it in my memory for later use. But in my book cybering with someone else is cheating.

Topic Egyptian Military Coup or new turn for Democracy?
Posted 07 Jul 2013 10:44

I agree that despite voting rights to women, they are not treated equally.
I know that about 40 to 50% of the female population does have their clitoris circumcised as African tradition & customs.
Inequality of women is not only cultural does also has religious enforcement.
Still, I believe Egypt is one of the most progressive Muslim countries of Middle East.
The latest turn of the situation is really dangerous for Egypt as well as all the regional countries.
It appears that the two polarized sections of society are heading towards clashes.
In one day over 36 deaths have been reported.
With Army backing the anti Mursi faction, it is feared that the country may not land into a civil war.
That would surely be a dangerous turn as this civil war may have spill over effects in the region.

What I hope is that countries like USA who is a regular donor of about $ 2 Billions of aid to Egypt should play an effective role and
stop the country from going into a civil war.

Even appointment of Mohammad Al Buradi as interim Prime Minister may have a negative effect as Mohammad Al Buradi opposed Mr. Mursi in the
run off final round of Presidential elections last year.

If you consider Egypt as the most progressive muslim country on women's right in the middle east then you need to read up a bit. Lebanon and several others are countries where it's more normal to see women without headgear than with. In several countries of the small oil rich nations you can find women in high positions in companies. Egypt is very very far behind compared to these countries, but who knows, maybe now they'll progress some more.

Topic Egyptian Military Coup or new turn for Democracy?
Posted 05 Jul 2013 07:04

It certainly seem like the coup had the support of the majority of Mursi's supporters, but do we really know that? Mursi won the election pretty much fair and sqaure(at least as fair as most democracies in the world are concerened) so a year ago it seemed like he had the majority of the people backing him. Add that analyzists have described the operation as too organised to be something that happened in the spur of the moment. This was something that had been planned for some time and the demonstrations was pretty much the excuse the army needed to dethrone Mursi.

I think the military powers in Egypt will have a lot to say in politics for some time. In many cases I fear the government will only be puppets until they slowly get more and more democrasised. But I'm not too worried about the future of Egypt. They've just gotten rid of a dictatorship. We'd be naive to believe that just after a dictatroship disappears they can have a smooth transition into a democracy.

Topic Tattoo Remorse
Posted 02 Jul 2013 22:32

A word of advice: if you're getting a tattoo with writing make sure that it's spelled correctly and if you get one in a foreign language, make sure that you understand the meaning and that it's spelled right.

My ex showed me a tattoo that she had gotten with Latin writing on. She told me what it meant(can't remember), but good lord I laughed hard when I checked the phrase and it meant something completely different. Never take a tattoo artist's word on foreign languages. You think you have a Chinese sign for harmony and when you go to China everyone shuns you because you have "I have gonoreaha" printed on your arm...

Topic Lecturer shagging uni student, taboo or no?
Posted 02 Jul 2013 17:47

Shagging a student from a different faculty is not all that bad imo, especially if it's because there's nothing to be gained from either of them doing it.

But should the student be one of the professor's students then I think he should at least get the sack. There's an unnatural attraction of the whole authority thingy. It's too close and the professor would need some serious backbone to avoid giving benefits to his little fucktoy. It's human nature.

It's something else when you have the professor in the position as a lecturer. With him/her standing there as the authority person on what you study there's an attraction to the power. Pretty much the same as a doctor screwing his 30 yo patient. There's no way of saying with 100 percent certainty that there's no abuse of power in the situation.

Topic Protests in Brasil.
Posted 20 Jun 2013 22:50

One of the key points that at least IOC and I think FIFA as well have in their requirements for applicants is that the stadiums and arenas must be used by locals afterwards. Sure, you can have some arenas that are temporary(this goes especially for the Olympics because not all sports are popular in every country), but the big permanent ones will have to remain standing. I believe most of what was used during the 94 Olympics at Lillehammer here in Norway is still being used.

However, now both IOC and FIFA are more riddled with corruption than the cops in a gangstermovie, that requirement has gone out the window. I think that became rather obvious when FIFA gave the world cups to Russia and especially Qatar. Corruption and a mad man's desire(Sepp Blatter) to be accepted as a world wide peace worker has pretty much blown that out the window.

They're talking about another Olympics here, the 2022 I believe, and it's pretty much the same arguments being flung around. We're gonna have to pay at least 5 billion USD if we're having it, and even if Oslo could do well with having their transportation system fixed up and modernized, it's still something the majority of the country won't get to enjoy, yet we get stuck with the bill.

The sports snob love the idea because they get to look back at it and view it as their "legacy", and partly the politicians too. It becomes their way of showing the world "look how awesome we are". If only their intentions were that it would benefit the people then it would have been acceptable, but it's not.

Topic What is a more important factor for happiness: Sex or Money?
Posted 17 Jun 2013 11:55

If I'm not mistaken then money and finances causes more arguments in relationships than the lack of sex. Not to mention that it brings stress and anxiety.

I think the question is quite individual. After all, sex doesn't necessarily mean love. A sex with a prostitute is still sex, but is it really all that? And what if you have kids? Is sex more important than money then? Is the sexual satisfaction you get more important than making sure that your kids are fed and clothed as well as securing a future for them?

It's one of these simple questions that have a complicated answer that's unique for every individual.

Topic It’s OK in Texas to shoot a woman for refusing to have sex! You're within the law.
Posted 14 Jun 2013 19:07

It's not really an issue about ownership, more a question of what this guy's first course of action was. It wasn't based on his knowledge of the law and the thought that he'd get away with it. It was more down to the culture of sorting out your problems with an assault rifle.

He went and got his AK47 and opened fire on a moving car in the dark for the sake of $150. Of course the worse thing is, the law has backed him up. Shop-lifters beware!

That only counts if it's in the night time! So parents of Texas, if you're gonna teach your kids one valuable lesson it's this; If they're gonna be bullies and steal from the other kids make sure that they do it in the daytime, because if it's during a class sleepover the little victim can use deadly force to protect his snicker's bar.

Topic Character and plot development in erotica
Posted 13 Jun 2013 17:09

If you have a well written and interesting story going, then don't worry about the long build up. Think of it as long foreplay. That just makes the finish that much better.

Think Buz touched on the important thing here; if you're having a long build up then you need to get a way to captivate the reader quite quickly, maybe in the first couple of paragraphs. That doesn't mean you have to give it up all in the start, but just a hint of something that makes the reader go "Ok, this could be good."

I have nothing against a long build up, but then it is vital that the build up is very good and to be honest it has to be vital to the story. A sentence here and there of the sort of "He threw away the cheap sandwich and got moving again" is ok, but just don't spend too much time on things that doesn't drive the story forward.

Pretty much imagine the story as an old man telling it, and then weed out whatever part makes you think "oh for christ sake old man, get on with it!"

Topic Porn video games + Oculus Rift
Posted 13 Jun 2013 15:50

Not long ago Oculus Rift was shown, which is basically a pair of glasses that you put on and you stare right into two computer screens. You can see how a couple of Norwegian journalists reacting to it here . As you can see, the screen follows the movements of your head.

Now a Belgian company is working on a porn version of it. It's only in the beginning face, but you can see a really short demo of it here

Question is; do you think a porn version of this could become a big thing?

My idea is that it actually could become something. Sure, it will recuire that you actually buy the damn thing, and you need to buy the games, so maybe it will only be horny geeks who can't get laid that buys it(although that's still a big market evil4 ), but imagine being able to move around and see the two girls getting on at each other, and then with a flick of your finger get one of them to move over and give you a blowjob. Look down and you will see her head bob up and down as she sucks your cock. You won't see your greasy lubed up hand stroking it, so in VR it will actually look like it's a woman that's stroking it.

Considering that usually when we masturbate we use fantasy, and here you can pretty much pick whatever fantasy you want and it will visualise in front of you. Add to how the new engines for the games make the graphics disturbingly real life looking, it's pretty much like an interactive porn movie. Move forward a couple of years and couples can buy a game where they're "fucking" each other.

If you had the funds(and in time the price will decrease) would you buy it?

Let's not kid ourselves: Obama's not 'picking his battles wisely'. If he wanted to remove intrusive surveillance, he would've attempted to shove those changes down everyone's throats the same way he did Obamacare. He never had (well, except for when he ran for President- see video below) and still has no notion to walk this back at all. To suggest otherwise gives him and his administration way too much credit. He's obviously very much on board with everything that's being done.
*credit to WellMadeMale, who also posted this above

Would it surprise you at all if this was something the NSA and FBI were doing without informing the president or anyone in the Administration simply because then they would have been shut down? Now Obama is left with a dilemma; either appear like a typical politician(i.e. say something and then not do it) or appear like he has no control over his military and federal agencies. Which is the better? Hell, with all the crap all kinds of different "security" organisations have been doing up over the years, I'm not surprised if they pulled off a stunt like this without telling the politicians.

Topic PRISM, The NSA and your right to privacy
Posted 11 Jun 2013 10:17

Obama could have led the charge to do away with all of this massive attack on our privacy rights and civil liberties in the Patriot Act and all, but he instead has eagerly adopted its use. Shame on Bush, Shame on Obama, Shame on Congress.

Why did those acts appear? Due to the terrorism threat. People cried wolf and Bush made laws that suited that cry very well. But what I fear could just as easily have happened is that if Obama had stood on the podium saying that he would remove the Patriot Act. The opposition would have had a field day with saying that Obama is opening the country to terrorists and whatnots. With his attempt to get through Obamacare and later on the gun control as well as the budget every year, then you pretty much have a "pick your battles wisely" situation. Sadly, it seems as if people are willing to give up quite a bit of their civil liberties in order to be safe and have enough money to buy their second SUV...

Topic PRISM, The NSA and your right to privacy

I say this is another win for the terrorists who are now rubbing their hands together as they see the once free America turn into a country that's throwing more and more of it's freedom out the window to keep safe. It's like a modern 1984 or V for Vendetta society. Thankfully, this dude looks like a more likeable fellah than the arrogant Julian Assagne who reeks of a man that wants international recognition for Wikileaks as a sort of freedom fighter.

The positive thing is that as more cases like this gets uncovered the more pissed off people will get. I really hope and believe that it will force them to tighten the ropes on the dudes deciding to pull off stunts like this.

That said, I doubt the US is the only country where crap like this is happening, it's just happening at a much larger scale.
