By and large I try not to fantasise about my female friends, I don't think it is respectful of boundaries or helpful in my relationships. When my thoughts head off on that direction, which happens from time to time, I don't let the fantasy develop into anything explicit. It's not that I feel guilty about my thoughts, it's just that I prefer to have a bit of control over my imagination so that I can better manage my relationships. The only time they go too far is when I am half-asleep, and I've probably fantasised about half of my female friends one time or another because of that. I don't worry about it much as it's quite diffuse and lacks any potency.

Honestly i suck at having female friends. I tend to flirt and put myself in situations that require a time machine but im getting better. lol. But i fantasize all the time.

With all my female friends? No. Just like women in general, some women I find attractive some I don't. Some of my female friends I don't find sexually appealing, even though I genuinely care for them and their friendship I'd have no desire to have sex with them. Some of my friends ARE very sexually appealing to me and from time to time I've imagined what they'd be like in bed. Others may be attractive or "my type" but we've become so close that she's more like a sister to me and it would give me the creeps to think of her sexually. One of my oldest and dearest friends is a woman, I'd take a bullet for her. She is like family, despite the fact that she's a very pretty and fit woman doesnt' change the fact that even thinking of her sexually gives me the heebie jeebies.

No, that would be pretty stupid really. I add friends with like minded interests or who make me laugh or are interesting, although they are all sexy in their own way and I have cybered with a few of them, it would be crass and demeaning to them to think of them simply as sex toys.

I think it is the same for males and females. You fantasize about those that you find attractive. You don't think about having sex with everyone. I can look at pretty girls and not think about sex. But certain ones you just can't help but think about it

Yes, pretty much in my experience, any woman with whom he spends time with - in some instances more than in others in that the thought eventually enters his mind but not all of them get carried through to the point of fantasy. Of course, that doesn't mean that these fantasies are acted on.

I'd say yes, but not just friends. Many years ago, I was required to attend a lot of pointless meetings for work. During the longest and dullest meetings, I would sometimes look around the table and imagine myself in the mouth of every woman in the room. No, not really. There are a few that I fantasize about, but it's on the order of 10% or so.
