I've suffered from this disorder my entire adult sexual life. It's starting to really make me feel depressed seen there seems to be no cure. Has anyone else got this problem? Or has anyone managed to get over it? I know it causes problems between my wife and I, but she never admits to it. Any help would be great please!!!

Wow, I'll admit I'd never heard of it. Have you seen a specialist about it? It seems it's often psychological which would entail therapy or counselling.

Was it ephedrine?
Circumcision seems a bit extreme, what were they hoping to achieve? That would desensitize the glans!
Have they checked the nerve endings for any damage?

No it was something called yohimbeam, don't know how to spell it, and the surgery was my idea and it has helped. The surgeon who did it said it was probably a good thing because I had the tightest for-skin head ever seen

I'm glad the foreskin problem is sorted, I have the same problem but I just suffer. I really think you need a hand with the anorgasmia. I'll have to check up on the subject and get back to you if I can find anything new.

Yohimbe! Who the fuck prescribed that for your problem? That makes it worse, it enhances the erection! If you have no problem with getting an erection you haven't got a blood supply problem to your penis, there's no reason to prescribe Yohimbe.
It might be an over supply of prolactin. A recent trial in USA found 69% of the guys on the trial improved their orgasms and 50% actually orgasmed normally. Ask you doctor or specialist about Dostinex it inhibits Prolactin, the active drug is Cabergoline.

It was a specialist nurse who prescribed it and I've not seen anyone for a while about it. Going to get more into it when we start to try and concive. Ask to see more specialist etc...

I thought it might be helpful to post a short explanation of what anorgasmia is, for those of us who don't already know...

Anorgasmia is a type of sexual dysfunction in which a person cannot achieve orgasm, even with adequate stimulation. In males, the condition is often related to delayed ejaculation. Anorgasmia can often cause sexual frustration. Anorgasmia is far more common in females than in males and is especially rare in younger men.

It sounds like you've explored the medical/mechanical side of this and, assuming that they don't come up with any physical cause, I'd be inclined to think that it's more of an emotional thing.

From an holistic POV, I would recommend a session with a Tantric therapist - Tantric massage is capable of giving the most wonderful, intense orgasms and enabling a person to "let go".

I'd also think that some sort of counselling based therapy might be helpful for you in finding the "mental/emotional" causes of the problem - I'd be prepared to bet good money that there is one and if you can find a good therapist, I think they'd be able to get to the root cause quite quickly. I feel this approach is certainly better than drugs and medication and long-term, tends to have much more permanent results.

I've not personally treated anorgasmia, but I have had excellent results in the treatment of libido problems and sexual dysfunction.

The therapies which I've found to be most successful (and these are the ones which I personally practice) are: homeopathy (there is a huge talking side to this therapy, which is cathartic and very freeing), Reiki - just from the POV of finding blockages and balancing, EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique - this therapy is very effective in removing or at least reducing mental and emotional blocks in situations like this.

If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to PM - I'd be happy to put you in touch with someone in your area, or talk to you in further detail...

Anyway, best of luck with your situation

I actually have the same problem, although my Doctor continues to insist that it's not a real problem and I'm just being paranoid. I'm actually going back to therapy because of it and the strain it puts on my relationships.

Yeah I know how you feel, no one seems to believe you and it's not like you can show them either. It's so hard to get honest advice on the subject and not many people seem to be looking for a cure to help either sadly
