Ive recently been dumped and its hit me hard, my cousin is going through a nasty break up and ive been on my phone now for 4 hours trying to help 3 girls that im friends with in there relationships. My Aunty has not long divorced my Uncle and my closest mate seems to be brainwashed into to loving a women he was with for 2 weeks 6 months ago.
What the hell is going on? Where im from all i hear is thats its a bad time for relationships.... why?

Hmm well my relationship with my Marine has been going great. I love him more everyday and we are have been together for 15 months and still havent gotten into a real fight
On a more serious note (although my point is somewhat valid), while I'm not in a relationship myself at the moment, LOTS of the people in my life are in very good ones.
My sister has a wonderful fiancée; my mum's relationship is currently on the up after hitting a rough patch; my dad's 10-year marriage is as strong as ever. And around 75% of my friends are either in pretty serious relationships or are playing the field successfully.
So it's not all bad.
Mk and I are great! In fact he's almost home for a visit.
I talked to my Mom today, she said things are still wonderful.
Every time I see my Dad, I see how amazing those two are together. Without her, I don't know what we'd all do.
Most of my friends marriages have been improving. But the "just dating" crowd has had lousy luck.
I'm a newly wed!!!! It's grrrrrrreat!
I should have thrown in the towel long ago… as it's only getting worse, the longer we limply hold on… but we're pretending things are nifty.
So basically… life sucks, and I'm growing bitter by the moment.

The Sun is shortly going into Virgo, so we will see many of people who are questioning their relationships becoming very analytical and less emotional on their decisions to do with their relationship.

Where's the spirit of "through the good old lean years and through all the inbetween years, come what may" If relationships, (which in my opinion are the most important things on the planet) can't survive stressful times then the relationships aren't worth a damn. That's the whole point of them- support for each other not just a mutual admiration society. Or am I being a reactionary and can't realise just how hard it is nowadays to be only a 1 car family with only 2 tv sets and not one in every room? Recession it's just a cyclic word thought up by the management because they got their sums wrong and want to blame us.

mine is going nicely and everyone i know seems to be having great, healthy relationships as well.
my love life started wen i was 17 n he was 18, v got physical after 6 yrs of long distance relationship n nw i m in living in with him past 2 yrs n getting married in April ............... all i can say it has been a wonderful relationship n our love is growing more than ever.
Mines going alright going to be 7 months on the 13th ^_^... Hoping that one day our web cam chats will finally become a real life date. Yeah, I do lose my temper a lot with him but the magical thing is he still stays and says "A lover's frustration is the only thing worth tolerating" which just makes my heart melt and want to be closer to him even more.
My relationship with my wife is non-existent at the moment. After being married 10 years, I was taken ill for about a year before we discovered that I had a cancer tumour on my kidney. After I had an operation to remove the kidney, my wife just walked out on me, out of the blue with no explanation. After two years, she has still not told me why she left; from the very few things that she has said, she felt that I was not paying her enough attention or appreciated her enough. How I was expected to do that when I was in considerable pain and discomfort, I don’t know. So I have lost the woman that I loved more than life itself. Life, relationships and wives with no empathy suck.
