We heard about the 80's so how about the 70's? I was just a little kid and I know most of us Lushies were either not born or very young but in my opinion it was the best time for music. There was the continuation and growth of many of the British Invasion bands, The birth of Heavy Metal, some great R+B, the start of Southern Rock and some of the best Classic Rock bands that are still around today, the Punk Rock Rebellion and yeah, even Disco!!
What are your favorites?

I think that's what Nikki was referring to in her post. That thread covers the 80's, so I think she wants to move on to the 70's. For whatever the reason, this was the first song that popped in my head.
If you haven't, you should read this award-winning story. Fine, fine, I only won a potato, but I'm sure you won't be able to peel your eyes away from it.

Since I posted the version with Run DMC in the 80's thread, I'll post the original here.

I'll end the era of disco with this post. Steve Dahl and the Disco Demolition at Comiskey Park in Chicago. Steve remains my hero today.
