Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without the annual screening of The Wizard of Oz - I've grown up with it, used to be so, so scared of the bad witch, and hide behind the cushions - not any more though, I just love it !

1. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (the greatest Christmas movie ever!)
2. Home Alone (I still love this movie and it had Joe Pesci.)
3. A Christmas Story (every boy needs a BB gun and I love the dad's leg lamp in the window, wish I had one!)
4. Scrooged (Bill Murray of course!)
5. It's A Wonderful Life (okay I know its old-fashioned and hokie but my family watched it every year at Christmas when I grew up & it makes me feel good.)

Bad Santa (honorable mention)

It's A Wonderful Life
White Christmas
Trading Places
Scrooged
The Santa Clause

I love all those movies, but Christmas just wouldn't be the same without:
A Charlie Brown Christmas
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
A Year Without Santa Claus

The Year Without a Santa Claus has been my favorite since I was a little kid. Just LOVE the Miser Brothers!

Christmas Vacation, Elf, Nightmare Before Christmas, and A Christmas Story are also big hits around here.

It won a potato. Aren't you intrigued?
