Hey all, I was reading this awesome series by some author. Back then I didnt have a profile, and I was wondering, what happens to stories when you/people delete their profiles? Will it still be available? Lemme know.
I'm halfway gone.

They are removed, along with everything about that person.
I've moved this question to a more relevant forum.

It's at our discretion if we publish them again or not. It is awfully time consuming having to read the same story (or collection of stories more often than not) twice.
I've given the story verifiers the directive that if there were extenuating circumstances, or if they genuinely feel the person / stories are worth spending the time on, then they may get another look.
Personally, I would reject them. We process 500 or so stories per month as it is.

So are you allowed to resubmit stories or not? I thought it was a no-no.

It's not, but that avatar is what made me think we should change ours in the first place.
I'd never have a gun in a default avatar for a site about sex and love. But that's just my taste.
At least I think it's a gun, or is it a very straight cigar?

It could be a few things actually...it could be a doctor about to take someone's temperature...

I don't understand why people leave LushStories altogether and then rejoin . I can understand someone leaving in extenuating circumstances , but they are not likely to rejoin . Why not just let one's membership account lie dormant and come back to it at a later date .

It's really unfortunate when people leave, because their stories go with them, and we get the short end of the stick by no longer getting to look at them and read them. There has to be a way to archive stories.

How about a Lush library? Members intending to leave could 'bequest' their stories. Their stories would be saved. If they were to return no need to re-submit. I'd magnanimously volunteer to find suitable librarians. If you could, would you? Satan
