A Florida state law states: "If an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle."

If ya can't beat 'em... pay someone to do it for you.

In the United States, stop signs originated in Michigan; 1915. The first ones had black letters on a white background and were 24 by 24 inches, somewhat smaller than the current sign.
From 1924 to 1954, stop signs were made with a black stop legend on a yellow field.
In 1954, the sign gained its current white legend/red field color configuration.
