After much thought, careful consideration, and an exhaustive search of the web, I've managed to recover ALL of my "Porn Star Dad" series that I deleted from my files when I deleted my first Lush account. I'm seriously considering continuing the story line, because I truly hate to leave a story unfinished and my loyal fans hanging.
So, what do my fellow Lushies think? Finish the story or just leave it alone?

It was a great body of work. What I read of it was very well-written, incredibly erotic and thoroughly thought through. You managed to keep it captivating over many long chapters and you made each one fresh and exciting. Although I stopped keeping up with it, I was sad when such a good and popular series was taken away from the site. Should you continue it? That depends very much on why you stopped in the first place. Don't finish it for the sake of finishing it; finish it if, to you, it's worth finishing. I know there will be many people eager to read it but are you eager to write it? Good luck with whatever you decide.

Some very good questions, ones that I've been working on for the past several months.
I stopped writing when I found myself writing the series because I felt I had to, not because I wanted to. It became a burden and a chore instead of a pleasure, and that's when I took my hiatus and deleted my account. My motivation to write has been returning slowly, and over the past month or two I've found myself regretting deleting the PSD series since I put so much work into it; I also found myself wanting to finish it instead of just leaving it hanging. So I did a LOT of searching and finally found all 31 parts of the story scattered around the internet on various erotic sites - none of which I posted the stories to - and have saved them all. I'm going to spend the next few weeks cleaning them up from the data transfer and copyrighting them, and then I'm pretty sure I'm going to finish the story. Don't know how many more parts it will take; guess I should say that I'm going to continue the story until it comes to a conclusion - and I won't know when that will happen until it does. There were a couple more things I wanted to do with the characters, and when I'm done then I guess the story will conclude.
Thank you for the insightful comment!

At that length, I'd be tempted to put it into an eBook. I've given you access to our author's private forums so you can mull things over

That's one of the reasons I wanted to recover the story and finish it. And thanks for the access to the private forums!

I plan on doing just that, either here or in my blog. Most likely it will be here, since this is where it was published the first time.

Your "Porn Star Dad" series was one of the best I've come across as proven by the fact it's one of the very few I've ever finished. So from the selfish standpoint of a reader, I hope you finish it and then edit the entire package into a e-book winner here at Lush. I missed them the 1st time around and I've been here since 22,000 folks were visiting. You've got eyeballs now, Aramis.

I cannot tell all of you how very flattered I am that my "Porn Star Dad" series was as big a hit as it was! It must have been good, because I found it pirated onto at least four other erotic story sites on the web, and it took me the better part of two weeks to round them all up!
You will all be glad to know that after much thought and careful deliberation, I have decided to continue the story and eventually finish it. I hate leaving things unfinished, and this was especially true with Sam, Miriam, Lisa, and Karen - I just have to go back and finish it, so I will! I've got another project in the works right now, namely my "Cougar Chronicles" series, and I'm also in the process of cleaning up the "PSD" stories as the data transfer was less than pristine in many cases, so it may be the spring before I get around to publishing the stories again. And yes, I most certainly am considering putting the entire series in e-book form and am discussing the matter with a publisher. I'll keep you all informed on that!
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind words and your patronage!

Aramis, back! You may remember that I was one of the Lushes that sent you mail regarding the disappearance of PSD. I read everyone of them but the last 2 (30 & 31) and was really left hanging when I logged in to read them and found that they were gone, along with the rest of the issues. It's great that you have decided to put them back and finish the story. I eagerly await your postings.

Aramis has asked me to tell you that he has had a difference of opinion with one of the staff and has left Lushiapolis. He will continue posting his stories on his own blog; I don't know if I can post a link here (mods?) but PM me if you want a link
