I say go for it. Just don't let your girlfriend find out about it. Also take into consideration the grass isn't always greener on the other side and sometimes fantasies are just better kept that way, as a fantasy.

I have a few friends like that. There are no particular romantic feelings, but we have fun throwing little suggestive comments back and forth and I do have a few "friends with benefits" fantasies about them. It may never happen, but the fantsy is fun
