This should be fun for a while - post your favourite movie quote, someone has to get the correct answer and then post theirs. Here's mine - nice easy one to start things off:
"What kind of music do you usually have here?"
"Oh, we got both kinds. We got country *and* western"

Good guess Bigdog, along the right lines. It's from Goodfellas.
"He's got a real purty mouth, ain't he?"
Clue - early 70's movie...

That scene in the woods where he's riding the guy bareback - one of my earliest memories of the dark side of life. I can still hear the banjos playing.
That was way before Burt Reynolds came out - Deliverance.
Here's a classic:
"I just want to go back to my room to think things over." "You've had your whole fucking life to think things over, what good's a few minutes more gonna do you now?"

The Shining - Jack talking to Wendy Torrance.
Here's an easy one:
"You can't handle the truth"

Even I know that one - Jack Nicholson, "A few good men".
"There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love."

I don't "do" movies but I found that reference immediately, so I will leave an informed reply to the experts.
(anyway I wouldn't have a clue as to what to post as a challenge unless it were "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do" !!!)

Ok, how about this:
"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead"
"I'd hate to be you if I were me"
"Your mothers c**t stinks like carpet cleaner"
(all from the same movie)

(all from the same movie) Ah, the good old Mickey Rourke in Barfly. I thought he was good in that, but preferred AngelHeart, one of my all time favorite films. Here's an old one: "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!"

"50 bucks grandpa, for 75 the wife can watch" LOL - they may have taken it as well for 101 Dalmations, but it was originally from the wizard of oz. No idea about that quote! A hooker's talking of course...hmmm....

Pretty Woman. Next one: Quote:In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed - they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, fire hundred years of democracy and peace and what did that produce The cuckoo clock.

Why couldn't I guess that one? I have the DVD!....chuckles. That's "Beat The Devil", a little gem written by Capote. OK, here's one: Quote:Cowboy: Well, just stop for a little second and think about it. Will ya do that for me? Adam Kesher: [sarcastic tone] Okay, I'm thinking. Cowboy: No, you're not thinkin'. You're too busy being a smart aleck to be thinkin'. Now I want ya to "think" and stop bein' a smart aleck. Can ya try that for me?
