at 5 ft 11 I can find it quite difficult to find guys who are not only taller than me but also nice, attractive and in control of their lives Even if I find a guy that is considered 'tall, tall', for instance 6 ft 2, I can still only get away with 3 inch heels - if that. However, height is not the most important thing to me. I am not 'unable to take a guy seriously' as some people have put/implied here unless they're half a foot taller than me. I have dated someone an inch shorter, for instance. My ex had 5 inches on me, which was lovely, my current partner barely has 2 inches on me. But he ticks all my boxes, so I couldn't care less.

Height is not that important to me. I am 6'5" as long as in ballet heels the sub/slave is not taller than me, then the height is fine.
If you have read 50 Shades of Gray and think that you are ready to be a dom or a sub. Then you have a lot to learn.

"Science" as per the UK newspaper. The stats suggest that if your a woman you'll be with a taller man. Daily Mail article about height difference between men and women in a couple

As long as he is taller than me 5'1 it does not matter, however taller is generally better.

I definitely prefer my man to be taller ... :) I am 5'4, father 6'3, mother 5'11, brother 6'2, brother 6'1. Life is so unfair......

As a teen it was a bigger issue, i have been 5' 9" since i was 8, but as I got older it became less of an issue, however one of my exs complained if i wore heels because that made me tower over him. My man is 6'4" and I have to admit it is nice to be able to wear my heels and be face to face.

HUH? 5'9 at the age of 8? Hmmm... I think I smell something. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume it's a typo.

Height really does not count , that is until we are standing in five & one half (5.5") feet of water (-:

I'm just under 5'5" and tend to prefer/date men around 6' but at the end of the day, it's not a deal-breaker if I meet someone who's amazing in all other areas except his height.

I'm on the shorter side, just about 5'3'' and my husband is 6'4". I've dated shorter men but always preferred taller. With that said, at times it's been hard to be spontaneous. Sex in a car, in the shower, etc. Cramped spaces are not easy in general but add in the height and it becomes a bit more challenging.

I'm 5"6, love dating taller guys. The tallest was 6"3. I did go out with a guy once just to appease him because he kept bugging me who was 5"2. It was pretty awkward. If my knight in shining armor were 5"2, I'd go for it. But like I said, I do tend to crush on the taller ones.

I've always been attracted to taller guys. Especially 6' and over.
You seem sweet, mind if I lick you to make sure?

I'm only 5"2 and a half. (The half counts)
My boyfriend is 5"6 or 5"7. And probably the shortest guy I have dated in years. I have normally gone for guys that have been 5"10 or taller.
The way I see it a man has to be taller than me. Because if/when I have kids they need to have the best chance possible for getting some height!
Plus tall men give the best hugs!

I prefer taller men (over six foot). I would never go out with anyone shorter than 5'10.
