Good Evening there Lushkins...Hope everyone is doing well this Friday-type evening... Did I hear someone say they were buying drinks? Was that you Chef? Very nice of you, though I really hate to take advantage of your generosity... Hey Reverend...pass me over that gallon jug of Beaver Breath sitting behind the bar...Chef says she's buying...thanks... I might have a quarter to put in the jukebox though to get the party started... (reaches into pocket, pulls out lint) Hmmm...anyone here can loan me a quarter for the jukebox? Anyway, this jug of BB should hold me over for the next hour or so...I be back... Cheers, Alan.

I got you a bottle of Thunderbird Alan. I heard you Jersey boys like that. Oh! There's Miss Sharon with her legs in the air again. Gotta love those soft thighs... Did I say that out loud?

Morning, Lushers and Lushettes. Busty's still in bed with a combination of the creeping crud and distemper. That's why today's coffee is brewed by yours truly. It's on the strong side but a healthy shot or two of Beaver Breath Brandy should smooth it out for even the most sensitive among us. This is a good one DM. Hey Al, about that book of yours. Is this an actual hard cover book? Or is it something a person can get for an e-book. If it's a real book and you sign it for me, I'll take one. For real. scoot Happy Sunday everybody :)

Good afternoon folks! I know it's practically the middle of the day, but I got a late start. Anyhoo, I made some chocolate chip pancakes and bacon and Sisters sent me an angry (not really) message saying I had to share (I'm an only child, and I despise that word). So *grumbling* who wants some dang chocolate chip pancakes and bacon?

I'll take the one on the bottom right Scootie. Pass on the CC pancakes but thanks Miss Slip. Don't have the craving today. I'm drinking a Coke Zero out of a wine glass today. This is strange for two reasons. First is, I like Pepsi better than Coke and second is that the wine glass has no stem. It's a little squat fat glass that my MIL gave us one year for Christmas. It looks more like a cocktail glass so I use it for an everyday glass. Got enough for everyone. If we look hard enough I think there's a case of Sams Special back here I hid from Alan. Is the Rev still under the covers with Busty this morning? Or is he in the den watching football? Anyway, I've got my choir robe, the see through emerald one that Miss Sharon got us, on and I'm ready to pass the plate. I brought a tambourine so Slippy can try to wake up Coma and Tose for the offering. Terrance threw in a pistachio shell for his tithe and he's tapping a couple of his legs in anticipation of the music.

Good afternoon, fellow Lush dwellers. I have barbecue ribs, dirty mash, cole slaw, and a chef's salad with a pitcher of iced teal with lemon ready for you all to consume after services.

For some reason, I tend to knock over regular glasses and break the stems, which might or might not be directly related to my consumption of wine. Have a chicken roasting for Sunday dinner along with a loaf of bread rising. Working on my first vodka and cranberry. It's tough, but I think I'll manage.

Ifin Terrence is tapping a few legs, waiting for the music to start, then so be it. I chose this one because; we are all amazing in our own unique ways.

Good morning, even though it is Monday, which means the bluebird of happiness pearched on your shoulder probably bears a striking resemblence to a hungry California Condor. Chef, back in the day, we'd do something like your Scots friend who never recorks his wine bottles, except we'd toss away the screw-on caps to our Boone's Farm, Ripple, and Thunderbird. That wasn't just wine with that bloke. It was anything drinkable. A lot like Coma and Tose probably. I remember my cousin drinking Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill and Mad Dog 20/20. I thought he was insane. Now he's an anesthesiologist (sp?) married to an M.D. in Canton. Oh the stories I could tell on him to his patients. I've tasted both of those but never Ripple or Thunderbird. Don't think I'd really want to. My constitution isn't what it was when I was a teenager.

Chef, a life without Ripple or Thunderbird would be like a life without haggis, trust me. Of course, back in the day, we wine con-e-sewers went for Gallo Tokay at a dollar a gallon. (Takes a sip of Busty's latest insult to coffee growers everywhere, then grimaces and shudders.) You know, it wasn't easy to get here this morning. Had to climb a long, hot, dusty trail through hip deep water in the face of a howling blizzard. After that, things started getting tough. But, as some may have notice, I did make it to this nest of semi-sentient lifeforms. Only problem is, now that I'm here, there's nothing worth saying. I have days like that too. My mind might be busy but nothing that comes out of my pie hole makes any sense. It's cold as hell here today. 64 and windy and cloudy which makes this old girl colder than I should be. Somebody toss me something strong to warm up with.

Well below 0 on the Celsius scale here with wind and flurries adding up a nasty wind chill. Something hot (other than Busty's coffee) would be nice. Hot toddy, perhaps? Well no time for my not-so-witty banter being that I'm in a hurry. It's Tuesday, so you all know why I'm here...

Ah, I thought since I'm not here as often as I should be I'd make it from Titty Tuesday to Two for Tuesday and make it a double feature.

Now that's something you don't come across every day, a guy from Canada giving a doll from Florida sympathy for her cold weather. Note the allusion to the musical, 'Guys and Dolls. Just trying to tone up this joi.... What's that you say, you object to my use of sexest terms in the previous sentence? And you'll invoke the ghost of Bella Abzug to be my nocturnal succubus if I don't.... Okay, you win. What about this? 'There ain't nothin' like a dame, from Florida, getting sympathy for being cold from a dude in Canada.' Works for me. (ingests some of Busty's coffee-like substance, jerks spasmodically) Morning, fellow Lush lusters. There's nothing else quite like a mug of Busty's coffee, fortunately. With Monday being a holiday, I'm not sure if this is, Hump Day, or not. But if unsure whether to celebrate that great event, consider that it's the birthday of: John Hancock, Randolph Scott, and Ernie Kovacks so party on. I love being called a broad. I heard we got named that because we're "broad in the beam". It makes me think of someone sassy. The suns out today. That should make it feel warmer. I still have my furnace on tho. Oh look at the guy from Jamaica over there! After I partake in a little of his herb, would someone please slide me down a drink? I may have to start a tab like Alan does. Learned last night the Marines have been laid off again. And not in a good way.
