Welcome to the site. I'm relatively new as well and have found the sheer quantity of great stories to be overwhelming. Head to a topic you like and hang around there for a bit in order to find some authors you enjoy. The list will expand quick as you start seeing who they like and so on. Good work with your first story!

 Welcome to lush, you will love it here. The forums are a great place to meet people and so are the chat rooms. They can be a bit overwhelming at first, but if you go into a room that does not have too many people you will soon get the hang of it :) As for stories, there are so many good ones here, and you will soon find favorites. I agree with Buz, you should read his stories, they are really great :D Hugs Saga!
