I have done so much in life that frankly a lot of it is done.... and what I thought I wanted to do when younger simply does not appeal to me. I want to make knives, and live a quiet life in the country. I enjoy so much about country living (now live in a city and HATE IT), and am a craftsman (wood, metal, fabric, etc.) by nature although a good portion of my work in the past has been physical (Military/Law Enforcement). I just want to remove stress and focus on the mental aspects of things... which is why knives have always been an interest of mine. To me they are very spiritual, and making them would bring me to a place I want to be.

I don't have a bucket list per se but do have a sex bucket list and the top one on that list is to have sex dressed with a woman and a strap-on.

To visit Sicily, learn how to speak Italian properly, and to finish the story about Kiso

To go back to Berlin to see the changes since the wall came down and Spandau prison gone.
To tour Russia without hindrance from the police or secret service.
Get out to Canada to see my best friend.

Hi BablingBrooke, I have flown in a private jet, let me reassure you, the more private they are, the more cramped they become, to the point you can't even stand in them !!!
Helicopters, on the other hand, are like floating in the wind, in midair, if your pilot's willing he will let you go places and see things the way you've never imagined them to be !

Bucket list ? Hmmm... I have TWO bucket lists...

Bucket list no.1, Sci-Fi style:
Grab my savings, convert them to 1950s currency in nominal value (i.e., 5 grand today = 5 grand in 1950's money) and enjoy a life long holiday in 1950's Monterey or Santa Barbara... or Cocoa Beach, for that matter !!!
Imagine the fun you could have with what you can afford to spend in a week these days, converted to the same amount 60 years ago!

Bucket list no. 2
Grab my motorcycle and ride around the world - without being harrassed by petty thieves and criminals and dodgy currency changers...
Jump in my car and drive a similar route the other way around, just to see the places I missed the first time 'round... in good company this time ;)

Visit Greece, and Rome because I majored in classics.

Visit Germany and England because that's where my family came from before they moved to the great white north.

Take an Antarctic Cruise because how many people can say they've done that.

Try caviar, and as many other interesting/exotic/hyped up foods that I can try.

There's more but those are the ones I can think of offhand.

Hey, that's on my list, too. And for the same reason. I got Italy out of the way last year. What I really want to do, though, is take a year or so and tour the Roman Empire from end to end. Start in Britain and end up in North Africa, having gone around the Mediterranean the long way via the Middle East. Sigh. Retirement seems a long way off.

Others on my list:

Have sex with a man (I think I'm bi but won't know 'til I try)

Write a novel (and hopefully get it published). Maybe adapt it as a screenplay (even more remote, probably).

Do some kind of religious/spiritual pilgrimage. Not sure where or what, yet.
