seeing as this is "the pub", and a wine topic popped up, thought i'd start this.
to discuss our love of single malts.
spose i'll start...
My favorite is the Glenfiddich 15 yr old. lovely and smooth, with not to much of a kick.
not a massive fan of "peaty" whiskies...
any real or amateur (like myself) connoisseurs out there, up for a bit of whisky chat, and tip giving?

My husband is a big single malt drinker. He does like the peaty, Earthy kind though. Talisker, Bowman(soon to try), Bruichladdich, Laphroaig, Ardbeg, mostly from Skye and Islay.
