Extremely aroused. To the point that I sometimes have to stop to play with myself half way through writing a story. It's also been known for me to be writing on my laptop while Laura munches on me. Kind of distracting but means I can sometimes still write - kind of. The downside is that I often find myself missing typos etc when I'm proof-reading because I find myself living the character and just end up fingering my pussy as I read  In summary I'm a fucking mess when I write but hey ho, none of us are perfect. It's just as well that writing sort of comes naturally to me and I don't have to think about it as such.

Even when not writing out explicit scenes, I get aroused when writing erotica. Usually I hold off on taking care of it for as long as I can, though, because once I cum, I lose a lot of writing motivation. I have to maintain balance.

I definitely get turned on both when I write and when I read. It just doesn't take much for me to get turned on though.

Mmmkay... so, 99% in this thread are anywhere from generally to very aroused when creating a story. So we're either wanking or in a state where wanking is definitely plausible. I'm always worked up into a lather in my brain and elsewhere, when writing something of this nature. Sometimes, not always, but more often than not...I find myself pretty aroused when reading my favorite authors stories, as well. I'm a wanker from way back.

I get aroused enough when I write my stories that sometimes I have to stop and jerk. I try to make sure that when I write my stories, I'm alone in a house where everyone's asleep or away. In fact, I have stories and portions of stories I haven't written that sometimes get me off.

One of the joys of writing is to get aroused - hopefully if I am aroused then the readers will get aroused as well.
I can even get a full hard-on when I am thinking about the next paragraph or section

Lol i'm trying to upload my first story but i've been getting really side tracked if you know what i mean... So i actually write in between classes at school and then let myself indulge when i type it up. One hand on the keyboard, the other in my pants ;)

I just answered another thread similar to this.... I tend to get very aroused when writing. But unlike some, I never masturbate while writing, only after. I feel, at least for me, it would stop the flow... so let it go and enjoy the ride. Then after a story is done, or part of a story is done, that is my time for "me".

I'm aroused by the ideas in my head put into writing. But once it's finished and I proofread, edit, fix errors, and read again, it kind of loses its arousal appeal. Kind of like a joke that's been told so many times it's not funny anymore.

When writing I am picturing the sex scene in my head, imagining the dialogue, contemplating the taste and the smell. So yes I do get very aroused and am usually pitching a tent as I sit there pecking away on the keyboard.

I can definitely relate to this. Every time I am writing a sexy scene in one of my stories, I get aroused and usually get a little hard. I find that i can write more passionately when in this state :)

Oh yes, so much that sometimes I need to come in order to carry on. If it does not arouse me, why would it arouse the reader? And as I am usually trying to get into words things I experienced or fantasies I would like to experience, it is on subjects that sexually arouse me anyway.

I agree - in fact, I think if I'm not aroused by one of my sex scenes, there must be something wrong with it. And think being aroused does feed into the intensity of the writing.

I love it when a story that has been trapped in my head suddenly floods onto the page: soft generalizations come into sharp focus; my characters start driving their story, giving me their words, demanding my attention. My heart pounds. Oh my God, she's not going to let him... suddenly I'm there, wrapped in their world; my breath catches in my lungs; I'm hot. I'm wet... typing with one hand... my thighs clamping together as I work towards the climax. I'd say that I get as aroused as it's possible for a woman to get.

Very. As most of the stories Ive ever written are true accounts of my sexual experiences growing up, the process of writing about them takes me right back to the situations I was in, and the feelings/emotions I was experiencing at the time. This brings back many memories, and doing so causes me to become very sexually aroused, to the point where I have such a wet pussy that my juices can often leak out down my legs.
However I do my best to ignore my arousal, and try to stay in the moment, so that I can focus on capturing the detail of my experiences, and hopefully create an accurate record of my sexual encounters.

As with Katie, there's an autobiographical element to my stories.
My pieces aren't completely factual accounts, but they are aways based on people I've known and sexual encounters that I've experienced. As a result, the preliminary stages of working out the plot and characters, even if it's for a fantasy, are almost always profoundly arousing.
The actual writing, however, is typically more laborious than erotic. Sometimes in the third or fourth draft I might find my attention wandering... But usually it's not until weeks or months later when, in the re-reading, I find myself caught up in the moment and discover my fingers finding their way into my briefs.

Have written a few stories for partners or prospective partners - none for this or any other site yet - but I have to say that each time I've written something I get extremely turned on. Even writing this reply and the prospect of chatting with others is a turn on and I'm quite hard right now
