Do you think Germany are the most consistent 'Chokers' ?

I mean digest this-
WC 2002- Lost to Brazil in Finals
WC 2006- Lost to Italy in Semi-finals
Euro 2008-Lost to Spain in Finals
WC 2010- Lost to Spain in Semi-Finals
Euro 2012-Lost to Italy in Semi-finals

So close yet so far from the title!!

I think I am. Sometimes I get really excited when watching a game like that U.S. Algeria one that's etched on the minds of people that had nothing to do that Saturday in the States. Sometimes it just doesn't appeal to me and it looks like intense trial and error. I like the uniforms. Lots of 'em are cool and the fans really love 'em. There's that.

Before I forget, congrats Spain!

Complimenti alla squadra di calcio Italiana!!

Congrats to Italy on making it to the final!! I am not really a big soccer fan nor do I claim to know much about soccer but I always root for Italy being an Italian-American. When I said I was rooting for Italy in the Euro Championship, I was told by a few Lush soccer know it alls they were terrible and most probably wouldnt even be in the the tournament!! So I am very happy for them!!

I'm glad that Spain won it because they were the best team in the tournament (albeit being boring at times).

I'm happy for Italy as well, most people (including myself) had written them off. However, once again, they proved that they come alive in big tournaments. They played some of the best football in Ukraine and Poland.

All in all, a controversy free and successful Euro 2012.

Had a dream I was king, I woke up still king!!

VS.

Japan

These two teams have been the most exciting to watch so far. Japan with a fast, efficient, determined counter attacking style and mexico with a more methodical and tricky approach.

It's on in the west coast at 9am.

Huge soccer fan. Used to be my dream to be a pro-player. And, I'll be immodest here, I was damn fucking good as a striker and a wingman. Then my knees blew.

Shame the US men's team can't field a decent group that plays well consistently. Guess it is a matter of the US simply having more organized professional sports that pay a ton more money, thus keeping elite athletic talent from soccer.
