The warm sound of my perfectly in tune Fender Strat going through a Marshall stack on full volume. A perfect blend when the other players do the same so we know we're all in tune and anything can go wrong and we'll cope as long as the basic sound's good.
Somebody mowing the lawn nearby - a reassuring sound of summer and also nice to know they are active and I'm not.
The theme tune for 20th Century Fox as a movie starts. It sort of tells me the world still turns and things are still happening.

It's a tie between crickets if I'm alone, or the heartbeat of my girl when I'm with her.

The purr that comes from my lover after a deep and long orgasm. That moment when she is lying in my arms enjoying those final waves of ecstasy.

Nothing like the sound of rain or a wicked thunderstorm. And it's raining now. Sweet deal.

Sorry to hear that you don't have crickets, Marilyn37. Many years ago we had visitors from the west coast of the USA that came to visit and they were absolutely fascinated with our "lightning bugs". I guess we all take our surroundings for granted.

the sound of his voice on the phone and his smile

In general, I love the soft noise of falling rain during the summer. My bed at home was next to the window I could open just slightly on warm summer nights, and listen to the gentle rains as they pitter patter on the plastic roof of the conservatory.
Another sound I love is listening to audio books being read by men with deep baritone voices, while snugged up against my pillow and under a big quilt. Makes me feel super safe for some reason. :]

The sound of rain lightly falling on a tin roof, the sound of birds chirping, crickets and other sounds of nature while camping, the sound of a the stream of a creek running, the rushing water of a waterfall, mockingbirds, ...... the sound of person beside you lightly breathing or snoring in the night
