i have used a real pic and ones that look similar to mine but i always say if its real or not....but talk to me and ill tell you that...ohhhh talking before black boxes...that is a novel concept. giggles

I for one haven't written anything yet. I plan to, and I really hope that most of the people will come for the stories, not because of my pic. But, to answer your question, I don't really care if a guy has an avi of a girl or not. I just kind of feel sorry for guys who do that. They want the profile views or the bazilian friends. I'm here for different reasons. So there.

First I want to thank overmykneenow for his work on the stats.... I have thought of doing something similar.
I kind of figure this out when my wife (Goddess_Lexi) put up a story and had more votes in a day then mine had in a week.
Yes there are advantages to a hot female pic but there are disadvantages to. Like mindless friend requests with nothing but a cock pick and the words "let me please you with this". She gets a lot more friends request then I do but turns most of them down. In the case listed above she turned it down. Then almost immediatly got a 2 vote on her story and saw that the guy deleted his profile. Coincidence....I think not! lol
I just take the whole view/votes thing with a grain of salt. It is what it is.
The only thing that bothers me is I took that picture of her and does anyone thank me.... Noooo... no pats on the back... no way to go man... nothing... lol
As far a "fake avatars", I always read a persons profile first. If I liked their story does it matter if they are male or female.
Then again I am a hypocrite, I mostly read stories by women. Also there are a lot more men on here then women. Click the active visitors link and add them up...
You know I think I am going to go read a story written by a guy. Show a little platonic bro luv!

The last time I checked into it, I found that good writing, just like taking out the garbage contrary to popular belief, is NOT a sex-linked characteristic.
And I almost forgot - yes that is meinmy avatar. That photo was taken in about 2003 or so, while I was playing for an outdoor wedding. SInce I am obviously reading a chart, I am probably playing "Sophisticated Lady", which the bride requested as the music for her mothers entrance. (I still don't know the changes to that tune.) LOL

i believe the avatars you choose should reflect something of yourself. lets be honest, everyone sees it. its almost like a fight impression. but as long as you like it then i guess it doesnt matter.

It doesn't matter what the avatar is but I do find it a bit misleading. Especially when the woman is very hot only to find out its a guy. Que sera sera!!!!!!!
