The more astute viewers at home will notice every user submitted image (ever) has suddenly gone missing from the site (or soon will).
We have spent some of your generous donations (we love you Golds) on a new media server that will host all the audio, image galleries and videos for Lush and its sister sites.
I have to migrate 200tb of data (that's a lot of cheese) from one server to another, so during this time there will be lots of broken images.
Hopefully within a day or so everything will be back to normal, otherwise you will find me in Paddy Maguire’s Pub, Haymarket in Sydney, cheers!

Gav - are you going to prevent images from being uploaded to our servers during the transition, or will they be automatically copied across too somehow?
If not, any images uploaded over the next 2 or 3 days, will not show.

We're up to closetcarol you go girl! Any images upload now will be persisted to the new Mongo store so wont be lost. Just waiting for the images to come across and the DNS to propagate.

I think Gav meant 2TB, not 200TB:  To give you guys an idea of how much we store, images are on average, around 80kb. 2147483648 / 80 = 27 million images. Of course, we have audio and video files too. It sure adds up.
