What do you most prefer to receive on Valentine's Day - 1) attention (such as a sensual oil massage with rose petals strewn about the bed, candles, roses, dinner for two sans clothing by the fireplace, etc.); or 2) more jewelry. And you can't pick both!!!;)

Keeping with our V-Day 'Red' theme - blood orange margaritas and cherry-glazed back ribs should be added to our menu options. love9

laughing3 What she said!! Feb. 14, 1971...1st wife left our marriage. And even though my 2nd wife and I are coming up n 41 years, there are still scars in the core of my soul from that 1st wife leaving me. YES...BAH HUMBUG on the date!!

Rick

EDIT: ps: Sorry ladies for jumping in like I did with this. I replying to ONE poster's response only. I hope you EACH get something nice for Valentine's Day. And I'd extend the same sentiment to wife #1 if possible, too. Wife #2 is a KEEPER (obviously) even if we have had our difficulties. I'll be sure and let her know that tomorrow!!

Of course it's attention.. I would pick jewelry over anything as long as he did it himself/planned it himself and spends it with me.. It can even be Chinese takeout.

I will cook dinner for my wife wearing only one of her aprons and give her a humorous audio music Valentine's card. We'll eat by candlelight and I'll make funny faces at her until she laughs 'til she snorts! Then we'll have great sex!

Definitely attention. I have too many sparkly things to distract me as it is.

I love this, BlazeStCyr ... real love shown every day ...

I am cooking a quiet dinner for my man.
It's cool here, so my fireplace will be on.
The wine is in the fridge. The scotch is on the sidebar.
And, because we are celebrating his birthday (isn't that convenient?) ... I baked an angel food's cake this evening to enjoy tomorrow with some freshly whipped cream, that may or may not make it onto the cake.

love3

Happy Valentine's Day ... everyone!
