I'd just like to make what the ones that sit on the bench and never play make. I don't think any of them are under 6 figures are they?

They've been beaten in 3 of 4 shootouts this year. They have not been beaten while playing actual Hockey this year. The point system is what it is and come playoff time, teams are going to have to win playing actual hockey. When it comes to the Hawks the only thing that concerns me atm is thier Power play. It's starting to resemble last years and the year before.Too much standing around and too much passing, not enough shots on goal. It's still early and they've taken 23 points out of a possible 26 which is pretty fuckin good.

The Canadians keep stealing all of our hockey teams in Atlanta. First they grabbed The Flames and then The Thrashers. You'd think they'd change the name of the team though. The Flames was named in honor of Atlanta rebuilding from the ashes after Gen. Sherman's burning of the city. Though when you think about maybe they were honoring his burning of the city. hmmm... That's one to think about. Next Atlanta had The Thrashers, named for the state bird of Georgia. Does that work in Canada? hmmm.... Oh well we still have the AAA minor league Gwinnett Gladiators and I think they had better attendance than The Thrashers. Maybe because they play in a coliseum out in the suburbs with plenty of parking and away from the main traffic congestion and closer to where northern transplants bought homes. I still don't know many of the rules of hockey but I've enjoyed several games of the Gladiators. The fights are nice! Personally I think Dudealicious is the leader of the Canadian conspiracy to steal Atlanta hockey teams. He's dangerous!

We don't give a rats ass about the Georgia state bird. They are aptly named the Winnipeg Jets. But honestly we know you crazy Americans watch more professional bowling than hockey (crazy fuckers). But we have our crosshairs set on ATL, you guys only care about your college teams. Bring them up and make them "successful" and we will happily steal them from you. Cheers lets have some fried chicken and dumplings (minus the dumplings, they're gross) and have a beer! All the best!

This is the second time a Canadian team has chosen it's team name in honor of a certain Blackhawk great.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves and jinx them Cheeseball Setting a new NHL record is 1st on thier list of things to accomplish. Still a long way to go before we can start thinking cup. But here's to 12 -0 -3 because it's pretty impressive.

Hawks Win! Hawks Win! They tied the record for most consecutive wins without a regulation time loss! So, it's 13-0-3. What a great start of the season. The poster above me is totally correct. Take it each game at a time and the Stanley Cup playoffs will be here before you know it.
Anyway, good luck Blackhawks.

Hawks Win! Hawks Win! Another day, another victory. Tonight the Hawks beat the St.Louis Blues 3 to 0. Tonight their record is 17-0-3. I know this streak has to end sometime, but I hope it isn't soon.

I remember going to my Grandmothers house for overnight visits when my parents went out of town. She didn't like many sports at all, except for hockey. She would make us some really good snacks for between periods and we would watch the Blackhawks play on WGN. This is during the era of Bobby Hull and Stan Makita. I especially liked Makita. He looked like the kind of guy that would have worked at a steel mill if it weren't for hockey. Fond memories.

Hey, Hey! Another win for the Blackhawks. It's 21-0-3 for this shortened season. Unbelievable. How long will this go on?
