I remember when Eight Tracks came out and the Bee Gees and Styx were big. Gas and smokes were under a buck. I remeber when getting off from work and the party would last all night long, sex,sex and more sex.

when I had my tonsils out..... they put me to sleep with an either soaked cotton ball..... an 8 oz coke was 10 cents.... the Draft... my # was 5.... rotary dial phones... B&W tv.... The Beatles on Ed Sullivan..... Both Kennedys and MLK assinations..... John Glen and Neil Armstrong..... The Fall of the Berlin Wall.... my 1st concert Hermans Hermits and the Animals. on & on..... but I guess it all pales in comparison to what my parents saw in thier lifetimes.

When we had the first color TV in the neighborhood. They would come around on Sunday to watch the start of Bonanza and the NBC pecock would begin the telecast in color and everyone marveled! Not all three of our booming stations had 100% color programing yet either.
