Ok, let's talk about what's really important at the Academy awards; the fashion. Give us your picks for top 5 fashions at the Oscars. Here's mine, in no particular order. Jessica Chastain Zoe Saldana (she could wear rags and still look beautiful Kerry Washington Noami Watts Halle Berry Quvenzhane Wallis gets an honorable mention for Sammi, her puppy purse, and for just being totally cute. :) dishonorable mention goes to Anne Hathaway for having very badly placed seams - it was very distracting, to be honest, even though i knew they weren't actually her nipples! Also in no particular order. These women all looked great. There are many others that looked really good but these come to mind now.
Jessica Chastain Sandra Bullock Jennifer Garner Naomi Watts Amanda Seyfried Stacy Kielbler
I really didnt like how Zoe Saldana looked, was too much going on there.
I agree with Sprite about Anne Hathaway and Quvenzhane Wallis. Loved the puppy purse.
And while I really like Jennifer Lawrence, she liked like she was wearing a Wedding Gown. Maybe thats why she fell on her face, LOL!!

I would've loved Anne Hathaway's dress if it hadn't been for those weird nipply seams!!!

Naomi Watts was the best dress winner for me. The other faves (in order) were: Charlize Theron Jessica Chastain Amanda Seyfried Stacy Keibler Halle Berry Nicole Kidman And - I know people hated it - but I actually did like Anne Hathaway's Prada dress (complete with the obvious nipple darts). It was very simple yet chic glamour and befitting of the role she played to win, as well. That kind of classy never goes out of style. Overall, I thought the best looks were the neutrals and gun-metals and metallics. I really wanted to love the ones who did bright pops of colour, but the styles just didn't do it for me.

I must have missed Charlize, she looked fantastic!! And I agree, loved the metallics, they seemed to be the choice this year!

Charlize Theron Naomi Watts Amy Adams Jessica Chastain Milla Jovovich
I dont agree that Anne Hathaway would have looked good if not for the nips, i thought she looked simple way to simple for an Oscar night. And yes Jennifer upper body looked great the lower part to much poof for me.

It would be hard to get one to fit me but maybe this one. I'd have some shoulder room, plus you could see my tattoos. But I'd wear a pope hat and cowboy boots with it, and be carrying a 12 pack of Sam Adams in a bottle. Maybe Sprite would be my date for the evening. PS. Kerry Washington sure looks hot!!!!!

Zoe Saldana's a beautiful lady for sure, but she seems to be growing a spare foot midway up her leg...

Dancing_Doll wrote:Woah... first Heidi dumps her hubby and then she goes cougar-tastic in this number. This is just way too much boob for a formal event. It can really only be pulled off by a flat-chested twenty-something girl. They do look fabulous, but just not for an Oscar party, IMO. I agree. Grammys Yes, Oscars No!

What, am I not allowed to be honest with my opinion? The ruffle-belt-bowtie combo ruins zoe's. Her dress should have kept the three line combo at the bottom and made the ruffles up top black, lose the best and bow, or take charlizes cut and keep it clean. her dress mixes like 3 different looks that don't work together but overall she still wins for looking the best. Worst: Halle berry I'm all for future fashion but that's atrocious. Also I don't know why she or Kristen Stewart are allowed to show up after twilight and battleship. winning a razzie should bar your entry to an Oscar ceremony until next year.
