Take some large shrimp and stuff them with cheese and a slice of jalepeno. Wrap in thick bacon and secure with a toothpick. Grill. It's the best.

On a sandwich, I like it at that point of where the edges are crunchy and the center is still chewy... If I am just eating it as is, I want crunchy all the way!!

I guess I'm in the minority that loves my bacon a little chewy and undercooked compared to crisp. And of course, I love it served out of a delicious pussy! love10

Any way it comes, as long as it's bacon. My wife is the baker in our house, and she's working on perfecting a bacon cupcake recipe. I'm a very willing guinea pig for her diabolical experiments. If she makes me fat, she has no one to blame but herself.

If the weak hand, that has recorded this tale, has, by its scenes, beguiled the mourner of one hour of sorrow, or, by its moral, taught him to sustain it - the effort, however humble, has not been vain, nor is the writer unrewarded.

With maple syrup. Buttermilk pancakes aren't bad either.

OMG that looks just about PERFECT!

I like my bacon kind of crispy - I hate it when it has that white rubbery fat on it... blech!!

I tell you what makes a nice change...

If you cook the bacon in coconut oil then serve it on a nice bread roll (I like the really grainy ones) with some rocket, baby plum tomatoes and a little mayo and brown sauce (a bit like A1 steak sauce) or barbecue sauce...

Delicious!!

Crispy: grilled rather than fried (and none of the white rubbery bits as Maz described).

Then sandwiched between two slices of toasted granary bread, a touch of English Mustard (One of the few things they do right!) lettuce, some thinly sliced cherry tomato and a drizzling of Mayo.... Yum!

Kinks, do you realise this thread is for people who DO eat bacon.... we want people to post how they like their bacon sweets. It's quite likely that nobody who reads this thread will be interested in the fact you don't eat it at all really. That would make your post redundant wouldn't it? Sweets?

.

The only reason I posted is because I answered the survey and one of the choices was "God forbid, I hate bacon". I always give a reason for the choice I made.

Ah, but you didn't say you hated it or why you didn't eat it! You only said you didn't eat it. Can't you see you're mucking up the whole flow of the thread here Kinks? geek Ok, let's get this thread back on track, why don't you eat bacon? dontknow
