It says that I'm an ENTP - which goes along with previous tests I've done

Here's something those looking to use this test to find compatible partners might find interesting...

Quote:
Keirsey pairings
Keirsey also mapped eight complementary type "pairings" to the existing Myers-Briggs groupings, indicating which types ultimately paired-off in long-term partnerships. Contrary to other pairing theories, these do not occur according to prescribed formulas, binary logic, or gender. Keirsey suggests that the best combinations would be the "opposite", that is, ENTJ with INFP, ENTP with INFJ, INTJ with ENFP, and INTP with ENFJ. Each of these pairs has the "N" in common, but nothing else.

INFJ <> ENTP
INFP <> ENTJ
INTP <> ENFJ
INTJ <> ENFP
ISFJ <> ESTP
ISFP <> ESTJ
ISTP <> ESFJ
ISTJ <> ESFP

Yeah. Actually, if you take the test again, you might actually switch over to ESTP...try again next week and see what happens. The scores usually shift a bit when the percentages are that close. My scores were like that with Perceiving/Judging...last week I was ENTJ...and as of yesterday, I'm ENTP.

I tried it again and you were right... I slipped over to

Beings I have already saw another INTP on here I might have to go back through it again, seems odd that we'd have 2 INTP's in such a small sample set when its only suppose to be 3.3% of the population.

I have taken these many times over the years. I am a "switch" :)

Either INTP or ENTP, depending on my mood when I take the test. I prefer to call myself IENTP, simply because "I before E, except after C or blah, blah, blah, rhymes with weigh".

As to what's his nose's "pairings" he may have studied what people DO, but he didn't necessarily study what would make them happiest. "J" people drive me absolutely up the wall in nothing flat. If I were partnered with one, we'd probably wind up killing each other, and you'd read about us in the tabloids, because it would be a particularly gruesome double murder.

(By the way - McAfee says this particular link is a "dangerous site" - If anyone really wants to take this test, I'd recommend you use a search engine to go to the Meyers Briggs site, and take the test there.)

INTp and sometimes INTj. I get virus warnings from the site you linked, but I've taken the 72 question test a few times and I, N, and T always come up strong but I'm borderline between P and J.

I took this test many times before, and was always alterning between INTJ and INTP, depending on if I was at a point in my life where practicality was required or not.

For the first time ever the test indicates ISTJ. I'm not sure that my personality really has changed ; anyway I'm almost 50/50 Intuitive/Sensing, so I guess I'm a split between INTJ and ISTJ. Maybe my intuitions have become more fluid and innate as I got older, and can rely more on my direct senses to grasp reality.

Introverted (I) 81.82% Extroverted (E) 18.18%
Sensing (S) 52.63% Intuitive (N) 47.37%
Thinking (T) 64.1% Feeling (F) 35.9%
Judging (J) 75% Perceiving (P) 25%

Your type is: ISTJ

ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time-honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.

responsible, planner, private, loner tendencies, perfectionist, organized, detail oriented, organized, would rather be friendless than jobless, realistic, observer, clean, focused, does not talk about feelings, finisher, punctual, private, does not appreciate strangeness, not adventurous, not spontaneous, follows the rules, dutiful, avoids mistakes, conventional, likes solitude, insensitive to the hardships of others, prepared, anti-tattoos, things rules are important, cautious, security seeking, prepares for worst case scenarios, logical, analytical, does not accept apologies easily, hard working

Favored careers (mine is one of these) :
data analyst, scientist, researcher, engineer, financial planner, statistician, office worker, government employee, lab technician, nuclear engineer, office manager, biomedical engineer, account manager, ceo, investment banker, analyst, academic, systems analyst, pharmacy technician, network admin, genetics researcher, research assistant, strategist

Disfavored careers :
entertainer, artist, filmmaker, musician, actor, fashion designer, singer, music journalist, comedian, massage therapist, photographer, dj, model, author, bartender, painter, school counselor

From Wikipedia (this is quite accurate of me) :

ISTJs are faithful, logical, organized, sensible, and earnest traditionalists who enjoy keeping their lives and environments well-regulated. Typically reserved and serious individuals, they earn success through their thoroughness and extraordinary dependability. They are capable of shutting out distractions in order to take a practical, logical approach to their endeavors, and are able to make the tough decisions that other types avoid. Realistic and responsible, ISTJs are often seen as worker bees striving steadily toward their goals. Despite their dependability and good intentions, however, ISTJs can experience difficulty in understanding and responding to the emotional needs of others.

Although they often focus on their internal world, ISTJs prefer dealing with the present and the factual. They are detail-oriented and weigh various options when making decisions, although they generally stick to the conventional. ISTJs are well-prepared for eventualities and have a good understanding of most situations. They believe in practical objectives, and they value traditions and loyalty.

Edit :

Looking back at it with keen perspective, I truly believe I alternate between N(intuitive) - S(sensing), and J(judging) - P(perceiving). I guess I can be more practical (sensing/judging) at times, but I also have been very lunatic in the past (intuitive/perceiving).

So I consider myself a mix between INTP, INTJ, ISTP, ISTJ.

Introverted thinking is the central element of my personality, for sure.
