I have never run into anything, that once explained in terms I could understand, was beyond my comprehension.

That said, however, I have never had string theory explained to me in terms that I could understand. (If you assay to explain it to me, please bear in mind that although I am a licensed professional engineer, I have never studied either differential or integral calculus, and I am self-taught in trigonometry, spherical and analytical geometry. That means that although I understand them, and can solve problems using them, I probably lack what my professors would have called profound knowledge of them.)

Feedback is when you say or do something and other people offer their opinions and/or information about it. Example: You wear your favorite comfy shoes and another person says "You should be wearing heels." That's their feedback. Your feedback will probably be: to kick their butt.

String Theory is soooo simply explained, and I'm not even an engineer! You give the big ball of string to the cat and she bats it around, chases it, chews on it, and eventually loses it and you find it three years later when you buy a new sofa. Duh.sheepholy
Season 6 of Doctor Who?
I was as lost as anyone. Luckily the new season is outstanding, even if the last episode left us with more questions than answers. Oh, um, I also added Jenna Louise Coleman to my "If I Went That Way" list, along with Sandra Bullock and Stana Katic.

I once heard a comedian say, "I don't understand women. But I also don't understand color television, so I'm good."

Calculus isn't all that difficult to understand once you grasp the mathematical concept of a limit. Unfortunately this is one of those things that I can't really explane without the use of a blackboard.

The concept of morality
Seriously, science says that our ways of thinking was earned from billions of years of evolution. And that morality was a concept that we discovered in order to strengthen our bonds with the society, making us higher than animals. But if so, then why do we question things that does not even affect our survival rate? (e.g gay marriage, prostitution, animal abuse, cloning, manliness, honor, chivalry)
It doest make sense at all dontknow

The math behind quantum field theory in a curved spacetime with relation to string theory and how, through those numbers, you can get the size and mass of a black hole. It seems like there's too many holes in it for it to work as they want to make it work. I guess I need to take more math classes.

Hmmm... Ashlie said something about gravity making the space-time curve and that's what makes it a sphere. But what does that mean? I don't know any physicists and I accept this question might not have a layman's version type answer, but it really fascinates me.

Think of space-time as the surface of a trampoline ....
If you place a bowling ball on the trampoline, the surface bends and other objects will roll toward it: That's gravity
A golf ball will do the same thing, but to a lesser degree: It has less mass and therefore less gravity
If a very heavy object bends the surface to the point where you can't see it anymore form the surface, that's a black hole

Why is it that people covered in tattoos, and have thus seen more needles than a thousand normal people, won't take a flu shot?

Why men refuse to ask for directions, they would rather drive around getting more and more lost than stop and simply ask someone. God forbid they ever had to admit they didnt know the way.

Why some people burn everything they cook even though the appliance comes with an instruction manual .. the cook book says 'cook at xx degrees for yy minutes' and the product they are cooking also has the relevant guidelines .. I mean wtf!!. I hear some people even burn a pizza which requires 5 minutes at 180!!! .. jeez there are basic cookery courses one can do .. just saying.

Unlike my fellow bro then, I hate being lost. The most lost I get, the more my mood sours. So I ask for directions.

But then, I'm a journalist by background. I couldn't afford to get lost driving to interview locations.

Football. I just root for the team they want to win. My ex boyfriend is obsessed with Green Bay, and I asked him the same questions over and over. I would understand and five minutes later forgot. This has been going on my entire life.
