In Enemy of the State, Will Smith loved him some blending......

Robert Clayton Dean: Hey, I'll be back to get my blender.
John Bingham: Yeah, I'll have it gift-wrapped.

Simple question, any fellow blender connoisseurs out there? I got heavy into smoothies in HS when I had to get surgery to fix my jaw and had to suck up nothing but liquid food for a month or two. Then college came, I got heavy into healthy shakes for pre and post-workouts as well as a nice kick-starter in the morning to provide a boost of energy.

Now I don't think I could live without a blender.

So my question is, do you blend? What are you favorite recipes?

Grant's not a bad blend but I really prefer a single malt.

Seriously?

No smoothie fanatics?

Sad day.

At any rate, what's become one of my favorite wake-up concoctions (and it provides quite an energy rush) is the following:

1 Avocado
3/4c Orange Juice (of your choosing)
A dash of some Grape Juice
A couple Pineapple Chunks
1/2c Frozen Raspberries
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (~10ish grams of protein)

Blend together.

I had to go for a long bike-ride after slurping that down.
