If I can approach this debate from a different angle.
Why does (most) of mens underwear tend to be made of a thicker and more 'heavy duty' material.
If more mens underwear was made of thinner sexier and sensual material, I'm sure it would be a great hit.
Men are made to feel kinky by having to buy sexy underwear from specialist catalog or by wearing panties.
If silk or nylon were the norm, this thread would never have started.
