Freddie Mercury. The greatest singer, who I never had the privilege of seeing.

Amy Winehouse. Not saying her music was my thing but no one should die that young and addicted to drugs or an ass drug dealer.

So many to choose from. Which makes me sad. For me, Elvis.

Lynyrd Skynyrd. Ronnie was a down to earth vocalist, Steve Gaines was just coming into his own, Cassie was one of the honkettes, Leon was a great bass player, Allen jumping ten feet in the air during "free bird", and Billy playing piano. Of course, bring back Hughie and the dead members of the Outlaws. so they can open the show.

Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Professor Longhair, Muddy Waters, Etta James, (my Blues Queens - Marva Wright and Katie Webster) Curtis Mayfield, Tina Marie, Rick James, Donny Hathaway, Minnie Ripperton, Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Tom Fogerty, Barry White, James Brown, ...oh sorry, just one?

It wouldn't be fair to pick just one! THEY and MANY MORE kept our world moving in beauty and light and love! They influenced the times that we live in and when they left, there was a major VOID never to be replaced or reclaimed!
