The title is a little harsh, considering the massive uptake and popularity of the site.

I think people want more than they are offering, something with a little more interaction, maybe some stimulating conversations and some erotic enticement perhaps? evil4

The team from Princeton claim the social networking site spread 'like an infectious diseases.'
The predict its 'decline phase' has already begun - and will be swift.

Have you ever read the Daily Mail?

I'm amazed they are still in business.

Well, I've tried playing their games there, they take forever, and frequently screw up too. I guess it was kind of like Deal or no deal. It was a really big deal in it's prime, but after that, it crashed down, hard. I guess by now, people have contacted people that they went to high school with, and found out, they still don't want to hang out with them.

Thanks for reading, or looking at my posts, now go to my profile, and check out my stories.
If you have, thanks for reading. It's always appreciated. I know I don't have a Recommended read, or Editors choice for you to choose from, but I think you'll be happy with any story you choose. I write the way I write, and try my best. I know a lot of you like my stories that was in the removed category, but I hope you can appreciate the rest of them. Check this one out.

Facebook was like a great big hoover that sucked everyone up, including me.

I don't think it will tank quite as quickly as what that initial story predicted. It will be with us for a fair few more years yet, because it slowly adapts (mutates?) to give its users more of what they think they want.

Having said that, if it establishes a paywall it will be doomed. The attraction of the interwebs is the lack of limits. If you try and section yourself off from the rest of it, as many news sites are doing, you are alienating yourself from the outside world. Facebook's big attraction is its complete inclusivity.

Sexual innuendo? I can keep it up all night.

"The Phonebook" will burn out like an infectious disease.

"MS Word" will burn out like an infectious disease.

We don't see things like that. What is the hysteria over Facebook? It's just a website FFS. Use it or don't use it. You do have the choice.

It caught a case of genital warts, chlamydia, gonorrhea and herpes. It is getting weekly checkups for syphilis. Someone told me it got a case of pubic lice from its fling with Yahoo personals, right before Match.com dumped it to the curb.

It's living in a van. Down by the river.

If ya can't beat 'em... pay someone to do it for you.

Don't bet on it! It is rooted in the premise that people need to post silly crap about themselves like I am doing right now! Not to mention it was created by the CIA to monitor everything in your life. By the way, Nice nude pics you posted !!!!!!!!!!

Bah I wouldn't believe a word you read in the Daily Mail, their so called experts seem to have the intelligence of seven year old children that have managed to get on the internet and banged a keyboard randomly to form words.
