I actually thought that I'd already introduced myself here but the memory, and only the memory, is going. I'm a mature (as in age) Canadian male with an immature (as in attitude) spirit. I enjoy writing for myself, but I've found that having other people read my stories is a rush as well. If I can give a chuckle to somebody, all the better.

Hello all! My name is Rosa, but you can call me Ling (long story). I am very gratified to find this site and to flex my writing muscles to (hopefully) the enjoyment of others as well as myself. I don't have much experience with writing for others' viewing so I hope I can actually accomplish something worthwhile. I love editing, too. I always look forward to finishing the first draft of a story so I can go over it again (and again!) and pick it apart.

Hi, Ling, welcome to the forum. I don't like the editing part. I enjoy the initial writing much more, feeling I edit it as I write. I put it away for a while and come back to it to edit, with a fresh outlook.
