i absolutely love the idea, however location is a big factor. Some (including me) have an issue with revealing thier true identities perhaps a masquerade ball type thing would serve to make those ppl more comfortable. Maybe even enough to change thier position on the idea. Just a thought.

I would love a masquerade!
If it was ever in Vegas, we could cut a deal with one of the casino chains for the whole she-bang. They love making deals with conventions. I'm sure that would work wherever it would be placed, if there ever was to be one that is...

I think the idea is great, and if I could afford it I would go. As far as it being open to the public I would think that might be a turn-off for some. You could say only registered members could attend and then at the actual even you have each person give their email address that they registered under or send everyone on lush a registration number (this could be very difficult though and time consuming). Of couse for each registered member they could have a guest or two for those who have multiple partners (which I've seen in profiles).

Of course I have friends on Lush from all over the place, so in my imagination they would all be there - it would be so interesting to meet them all, wouldn't it?

I think I'd go. I'd have to take a friend though because I'm kinda shy on my own. I think it'd be cool if people wore masks bearing their avatars. I'd also need to get some scratch to go, depending on the location.
