http://www.lushstories.com/forum/yaf_postst9940_Who-is-your-favourite-James-Bond.aspxSean Connery won our previous poll. I think Daniel Craig is an excellent actor, he takes the role very seriously though, previous Bonds had more humour to their character.

Sean Connery is a fantastic actor, and he's a good Bond, but to anyone who has read any of the Bond novels, Daniel Craig is the truest to the character. Bond is SUPPOSED to be a a cold, womanizing bastard.

Daniel Craig is certainly the sexiest/best actor/ he will win this poll im sure . However then there is Roger moore. Now was this his name or was it his goal in life?
I pop`d outside to quickly see a friend. I askd them the question, They recon its Daniel Craig to, as the 007 films are getting much better , More of a film and a wonderfull plot to them . However each and everyone is so good in its own right.

I don't even know who some of those guys are but definitely Daniel Craig is the best one. Its too bad they don't make a younger Bond though to appeal to this generation. We're the ones spending money going to the movies all the time. You'd think they'd figure it out and pick a younger hotter Bond OR maybe even make a different series of movies with the son of James Bond but doing the same kind of stuff that his Dad does. I think that would be a great idea! Besides he sure has boned enough Bond girls out there he should at least have a couple of accidental kids by now right? haha

I see a generational divide building here. Still voted for Sean Connery, even though he wasn't the 'original' Bond.

Sean Connery. Suave, debonair, sophisticated, mystic, bold ,brave, intelligent, & just an all around bad ass. Didn't take shit from anybody. Not even Pussy Galore.......... And do not stir his Martini..

I'm in agreement with Sean Connery, definitely the best bond character by far. I do agree that Daniel Craig is one hot looking and sexy sounding man though!
Hey MK, I always thought Connery was the original actor to portray Bond, no??

I'm giving away my age here but I got to know Bond in the Roger Moore era: the suave gentleman spy with a lot of gadgetry. So, to me, he rings truest. Pierce Brosnan was a similar Bond and I liked his portrayal a lot too.
I do find an age gap in this question. It seems to do with the actor who played Bond when you got to know the character. Still a very interesting and entertaining bunch of movies.

Roger Moore is my favourite followed by Sean Connery. I haven't seen any of the ones with the new guy in it, Dan Craig is it. I was going to bring up George Lazenby but I see Sprite beat me to it. He was only in the one film and I don't think he was too popular but at least there was an Aussie Bond.

Hey MK, I always thought Connery was the original actor to portray Bond, no?? Yeah, there was a TV episode on the show called Climax! - it was based on Casino Royale, but the first Bond 'movie' was Dr. No, played by Sean Connery. Hey MK, I always thought Connery was the original actor to portray Bond, no?? There was a CBS TV version of Casino Royale in which Bond was portrayed as a CIA agent and played by Barry Nelson in 1954. Bob Holness played Bond in 1956 in a radio version of Moonraker. Connery was the first person to play Bond in the movie series done by EON Productions. How's that for nerdy?

Poor George (George Lazenby; On Her Majesty's Secret Service), always gets left out of the mix. For me Connery, and as far as womanizing, he was adept at that in his real life.
