With a 60 year age difference, and A LOT of money in the mix, who is the smarter half of this couple? The old man who gets to pretend hot women find him attractive and desirable, or the twenty-something blond that will be financially set for life? Given that Hugh lives in a mansion filled with hot playboy bunnies that flatter him with attention, it's kind of heart warming to see his desire for marriage. Awww... he must be a romantic after all!

If you were Hugh Hefner, would you walk down the aisle at 84 years old?

And Ladies... if you were Crystal Harris, could you marry and have sex with this man, even if he IS Hugh Hefner and filthy rich?

News Story wrote:

Hugh Hefner, the twice-divorced founder of pioneering men’s mag Playboy, is taking the marriage plunge once again.

Hefner, 84, announced his engagement to Playboy Playmate Dec. 2009 Crystal Harris — who is 24 mind you — in a Christmas Day posting on Twitter.

“When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory,” says Hefner, who popped the question to the glee of Harris on Friday.

The publisher was first married to Mildred William, who he divorced after a decade of marriage in 1959. In 1989, Hefner wed Playmate of the Year Kimberly Conrad, the mother of his two grown sons. The couple separated in the late 1990s, but didn’t divorce until earlier this year. Hef, who chronicles his adventures as one-fourth of a poly-relationship on E!’s Girls Next Door, famously refused to wed longtime girlfriend Holly Madison. At the time, Hugh confessed that he was no longer interested in marriage.

“It’s unlikely since I haven’t been very successful at it…” he told PEOPLE in 2009.

More to the point, is he erectile ? As far as the future Mrs Hef's motives go, I think Robin Williams called it 'financial attraction.'

In other news, a huge shipment of Viagra was stolen in Australia this week. The estimated street value of the haul is over AU $ 100,000. Police are looking for three hardened criminals.

Altho Heff's in great shape for being 84,
I believe Crystal has dollar signs in her eye's.
Apparently, an abundance of beautiful woman around
is like the fountain of youth, not to mention a fountain of cash!

I couldn't resist posting this... because the visuals totally made me laugh. Still, for a man of his age to be having sex "a couple of times a week"? LOL For sure this is a man that is destined to die while fucking. No question about it. geek

"I make love a couple of times a week, and I take the Viagra when I'm going to be making love," Hefner continued. "I would say at 84 it helps. It's God's little helper."

In her new memoir Kendra Wilkinson chronicles her first time with Hef, in a Playboy mansion orgy:

"One of the girls asked me if I wanted to go upstairs to Hef's room... It seemed like every other girl was going, and if I didn't it would be weird. One by one, each girl hopped on Hef and had sex with him... for about a minute. I studied their every move. Then it was my turn... it was very weird. I wasn't thinking about how much older Hef was--all the body parts worked the same. I wanted to be there."

Another ex-Bunny, Jill Ann Spaulding, described the Hef orgy a few years ago:

"Hef just lies there with his Viagra erection. It's just a fake erection, and each girl gets on top of him for two minutes while the girls in the background try to keep him excited. They'll yell things like, 'fuck her daddy, fuckk her daddaddy!' There's a lot of cheerleader going on! The main girlfriend wipes off his [uncondomed] penis. She's the girl who actually shares the bed with him. She sleeps there all night. She's around 22 years old. He uses all the same girls. She's been there for three years now... When it first gets started his main girlfriend gives him [oral sex], then she has sex with him. She's the first to go because that's the safest for her. No protection and no testing. He doesn't care."

You know I admire heff because he's a master of marketing. He has managed to keep people interested In a magazine which is pretty boring really. I looked at a playboy a couple of times but it doesn't entertain me as much as other things. I guess if I was 13 it would be cool but that's it really. The pictures? Internet porn is better. The articles? Real magazine articles are better. Those dirty letters to the editor from "real" people? The stories on lush are better. Almost everything is done better in a different medium but playboy is still around.

I don't think he's having sex with these woman. It's just a way to stay in the news and plug his magazine as he should be doing in my opinion. Just a good business man.

The attraction is financial more then not. Although she may be attracted to him in other ways ... her future is her motivation I bet.
I have a friend who is with a gentleman for that reason. She says she in love with him ... but her love is like a friend not a lover and its not unconditional.
I think its sad, and wrong. She speaks about how he does this and that, but he bought her this and she is getting that... ugh!
I know people feel differently, and that cool. I just think its a turn-off and character flaw to use people and their feelings.

Well, not every partnership is based on romantic love alone, so far be it from me to judge either of them. If it's not sexual or romantic, then I'm sure Hef is smart enough to know that she's getting something out of it beyond his humor and sexy 80-something bod. I have met lots of people, here and in real life, who are in relationships for reasons that go way outside of just the normal "fall in love" pattern, and sometimes they are years into it before one finds out that love is not enough, and that the money and security (or maybe other things too) are the actual ties that bind. It sucks when only one person feels that way, whether from the start or finding out later. But when guys with money get with girls, and are very generous from the start, they either know the score or are dumb enough that they partially deserve to get fleeced a little.

Ditto. I guarantee that there was a pre-nup involved and that both parties know exactly what to expect from their relationship. In any event, it's entirely their business. If she's happy boffing some old coot's Viagra boners, and he isn't too senile yet to appreciate it, then good luck to them both.

It's a willing seller-willing buyer situation. They both play the game they are supposed to, not a big deal.

By the way, I heard playboy is almost bankrupt due to the internet? Who is gonna pay money for a magazine when you can see for free all the pussy in the world on your computer screen?

So perhaps is this just a marketing move?

I don't know... Didn't Hef seem way "cooler" to guys when he was that swinging geriatric bachelor, with three matching blonde girlfriends?

If he wants to modernize Playboy's image and create interest and intrigue about what it's like to be him, I would think that giving into "ye olde institution of marriage" is not something that should be carrying a lot of appeal to him... and especially not at his age. It just makes him seem a little dull (and gullible).

But hey, maybe they will stage a giant reality-TV style wedding and grotto orgy, and get people excited about Playboy again.

Okay, imagine that you're 84. You have more money than you could possibly stay interested long enough to spend, you'll go down as an unqualified success in your field, and you've gotten into more pink in your lifetime than a warehouse full of valentine's day party favors. What did you not have? Maybe that whole family with picket fence thing, but honestly that probably doesn't even register to you. I'm guessing five decades, 300 lines of coke, and 600 playboy bunnies ago, all that was kind of wiped from the 'life's goals' list, which is understandable.

So what is it that you really want to do? Fight a losing battle to make a thick-ass magazine sell when magazines are dying? Try in vain to keep up with the Youporns, Lushstories', and Adultfriendfinders of the world? Nah, maybe you just want to hang out with a sexy girl, drink good brandy, sun yourself, and show up at a good party every few weeks. Oh she wants to get married? Sure, whatever. Have your lawyers draw up some papers so she can't clean your ass out if she goes nuts or you get sick of her, and enjoy the fact that you made somebody happy...for now anyway.

Maybe he doesn't give a rats ass if we think he's interesting anymore. If that's the case, he might be one of my favorite people.

He's bored, along comes a toy he can play with and she gets to be pampered and have her 15mins of fame. Its a win-win in that situation.

He's smart and protected and the girls see dollar signs and a boost in their image. And maybe their fetish is octogenarian sex.

Good for him! He's not dead after all!!! I have no problem with age and age gaps. Personally, he'd be too old for me but I can't judge anyone! I'm 26 and usually go for guys in their 40's...

If he's been fucking all those girls in orgies for 84 years and never wears a condom, I wouldn't let him fuck me with out one...and I DEFINITELY wouldn't marry him.

He' a little creepy....

I like the older men on LUSH better anyway...lol

I think it would probably be every man's dream (and, I would imagine; plenty of women) to have this bottomless pit of young flesh at one's disposal (pun intended as that seems to be the case in Mr. Hefner's long history) No doubt, financial gain/independence plays a major role in a relationship of this nature, as does the publicity and I doubt whether Ms. Harris would oblige any other senior citizen without the fame and fortune that goes with "Heff" - As for HH; I take my hat off to him for even having the balls to consider it ...and far be it for me to judge the man, or Ms. Harris for that matter, for their actions or motives.May she bring him mush happiness in his twilight years.
