Seems like that could have been handled privately. Bundle of joy you are, LOL.
Which do you think is easier, to donate time and effort to make the site as good as it can be? Or take personal shots publicly at those that do?

I think most people do actually mean to delete their account (after prompted, are you sure). If it was me, and I wanted to remove myself from the site, I would want to make sure it was done there and then, and not have to wait for a delay.
Btw, I was only kidding about the view vs. reads thing... I'm not sure I agree with you about the account deletion thingy though, considering the number of people who seem to return, often within a day or two... I do however agree with LadyX... Of course, I always agree with Xuani...

People who don't categorise their stories properly, however... Thank you, Gypsy. Let's see, the story in question had sex between a mother and son, aunt and nephew, aunt and niece...and that's as far as I got. Does anyone besides the writer who posted it in the wrong category to begin with think it doesn't belong in Incest? Oh, and Mr. Barclay? It's common for different parts of a story to be posted in different categories, depending on the content of each section. But I'd be happy to move Chapter 1 to Incest as well, so the two parts are posted in the same category. The implication is certainly present, though it's not stated outright. I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if I repeat.... on my profile page when i'm notified that someone posted in a forum thread. When I click on it, can it go directly to the last page or post instead of page one of the thread? When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser. Socrates

But on topic. Would it be possible to have a better search function for stories? Be able to search on title or tags or just everything and then maybe be able to order them on views, rating or something more. I think it would be pretty helpful with the amount of new stories added every day.

I've been thinking that I would like to be able to click on a member's name (in the sender box) when they sent requests and be taken straight to their profile page where I can choose to accept their invite or not (check a box that says 'accept' or 'delete' and which one you choose takes you back to inbox after. I like to take a stroll through a member's profile and found myself having to do four things just to accept or not (opening up mail, checking out profile, going back to messages to accept/delete, back to messages and doing it all over again).
If that is possible Gav, that would be great & save a lot time to do other stuff!
Image gallery: public and private, In your private gallery: do you have the option to choose which friends get to view your personal photos? If not, could you make it a function? Say for example when I add a friend I would like to get to know them a bit better/feel comfortable before I let them see my personal pics.

It seems to me that you're getting a certain amount of requests for things that are already in place... I think what Lush really needs is an instructional video on the use of the site...complete with plenty of hot looking naked women bending over the computer screen...and maybe that sexy voice over girl doing the narration... I think every guy here would be an expert on the site in no time... I know I would...

Oh, just another thought,
Could Gav, please add a Comment link on our profile pages in the story section.
So you have: Added : Oct 11, 2010 | Category : Lesbian | Votes : 50 | Avg Score 4.8 | Views 9,904 | Comments 10 and when someone comments on your story just can just go straight to that link and read the comments (story isn't attached).

@iszofia, Those treats are what keeps me coming back :D Quote: Similar to DirtyMartini's comment, I would love to see the links on my news feed concerning friends' forum posts connect to the post, or at least the page of the post, rather than the first page of the thread they post on. It would just make it a little easier to check out posts that they make, specifically when there is an active debate in the think tank.
This will be in the next release. Quote: I've been thinking that I would like to be able to click on a member's name (in the sender box) when they sent requests and be taken straight to their profile page where I can choose to accept their invite or not (check a box that says 'accept' or 'delete' and which one you choose takes you back to inbox after. How about in the short term, when you get a friends request, you click on their name but open their profile page in a new tab (CTRL click or right click, open in new tab). That way you can browse their page, when your done just close it down and your right back at your open message page where you can accept or decline? This feature is coming with the photo album's. Quote: I think what Lush really needs is an instructional video on the use of the site.

When you feel the urge to rejoin, simply import your profile. /joke Hey Gav...I would certainly be willing to volunteer to do the video, assuming there are sufficient female volunteers...I am certainly open to that...anything to help the cause... Regarding the account deletion thingy...would there be any way to store the account on the server for a period of time? I think most people who delete there accounts after someone looks at them wrong in a chat room, or had too much tequila, or whatever are not going to go through the trouble of backing up their profile... Then when they sober up the next day, or take their meds or whatever, it will be available again... I mean, I personally don't care if someone wants to delete their account every day and re-join...whatever floats your boat, so to speak...but, when there are stories involved I think it becomes more of an issue that should be addressed. I have people on my friends list who have deleted their accounts and returned more than once... Nicola has made it clear in another forum post, that she does not want the same stories re-submitted when someone gets back to reality and returns to the site. I can fully understand this... The thing is, Lush has lost some very good stories because people have had a rough day or whatever and deleted their accounts... If you look under "Competitions" on the front page, you will see there is no first place winner listed in the first Lush story competition... I can think of plenty more examples on the site... I personally can think of no good reason why any sane, sober individual would need to delete their whole account when Lush offers so many account options, such as deleting pictures, changing birth dates, deleting individual stories...even changing screen name on request... I just think it's an issue that really needs to be addressed more...

No need to apologize.
It affects the whole site when somebody drops in and only contributes negatively to it. It's not necessary to insult anybody, yet you clearly enjoy doing so, both in comments on stories and to members, and now also to moderators.
Maybe it's the rest of us that should apologize. I can't imagine the hurt you must have experienced by having your story moved by evil-doing lush volunteers. How dare they, with their valid reasons and all? So, I'm sorry, DBarclay. How dare I suggest you not act like a baby and complain publicly instead of just sending a PM, which would take the same amount of time, and would spare us your attitude.
What is your point, ever, other than to complain and disparage?
