Can somebody tell me how to post a video in my profile? I saw the YouTube button, but do I have to have my video on YouTube before I can post it here???

Yes, only youtube videos can be shown here at this time.
Account >> Settings >> Video Gallery is where you can enter the youtube details.

Leesa As Nic said, it is only YouTube videos that can be posted...notice also that when posting vids in the forums, you need the embeded link which you get on the YouTube video page... When adding a video to a profile page, you need the URL of the video... I am assuming this discrepency is something inherent in the forum software and is beyond Gav's control...

Oh, boy! Well, this isn't a video I want just "out there" on YouTube. I guess there may be a way to post a "private" YouTube video, but I'm not sure how to make that work, and make it accessible here. Guess I'll have to leave that little bit of research for another time :-)

You can post your naughty video on Youtube (and make it private, so that only you and whomever you provide the URL to, can see it). But I would not post it so that anyone on Lush can see it, or you may regret it.

On youtube there's something called "unlisted" you can use that to post your vid and only the people with the link can see it. (It won't show up in any kind of youtube search.) It's very easy for a link to be spread to more people than you want it to, anyone who watch your vid in your gallery here at lush can get the link. To minimize the risk of it getting to the wrong hands you can make your video gallery visible to your friends only, in the privacy settings. If you create a "private" video on youtube, you can share it with 25 people and all of them must have a youtube account but you can't share it on any other website. I hope this helps you.

I was pulling my hair out trying to figure this out and discovered:
1. On youtube under share you must click show options and check the box for long link
2. links where the file name has a - in it don't seem to work
