Strange question, but I notice sometimes waves of people abruptly sending messages that they are deleting their accounts with what is often a very hasty one or two line mass mail they send to everyone.
I'm certain this has to be bot-based or something, because I've received identically worded messages from different account users saying they're afraid they're going to be caught by their wives, or that they are "sorry if they made u sad"
What gives? Is the site aware of this strange trend? I don't see what the scam is, if there is any, but it's reaaaaally weird.
Your thoughts?

It's normally the same attention whores who stir up trouble, and then mass mail people when they realise they've been exposed, prior to deleting their account. We normally see them back under a new alias within a few days. It's tiresome. Here's a typical person who does this:

That woman sent me the same photo of herself on an anonymous beach, one afternoon in 1999. She does own nice glutes.
The best thing you can do for your fellow, next to rousing his conscience, is - not to give him things to think about, but to wake things up that are in him... to make him think things for himself - George MacDonald
