Hi, I'm interested to see how reading habits differ between the guys and the gals, and also which categories are the most popular over all. I usually read supernatural, love stories, bdsm, novels, exhibitionism, voyuer. I usually don't read incest stories.

If you are puzzled by my groupings, there is some method to the madness, which I will endeavour to explain. Firstly the polls are limited to 9 options, so grouping was unavoidable. Now how I grouped: 1. Anal, Quickie, Straight, First time - All categories determined by the type of penetration 2. BDSM, reluctance, spanking - All dominance/submission fantasies 3. Group sex, Exhibitionism and Voyeur - All involving extra players 4. Gay Male, Lesbian, Trans, Bisexual, Crossdressing - All categories determined by sexuality 5. Masterbation, Oral sex - Categories with no vaginal or anal penetration 6. Fetish, Toys, Supernatural - Categories with a twist on the norm 7. Mature, MILF, Interracial - categories with specific players 8. Incest, Taboo - Well, taboo really. 9. Love stories, Wife Lovers - stories with a strong romance/relationship element

For instance, in group 1...first time stories tend to be a bit more on the romantic side than anal and quickie... Likewise, in the last group...Love stories tend to be somewhat commitment oriented, Wife lover stories are the opposite... Just saying...

Hey Alan, First time was the last one I placed, couldn't decide where to put it, so I lumped it in with straight. I wouldn't say all Wife Lovers stories are anti-commitment, some are very romantic, and some are about flexibility in relationships that denote trust. But I get your point. Oh gee, it is hard to decide.
Mostly I like stories where I can feel the characters and relate to the story arousal - arousal is one of the main reasons I read Lush stories. The grouping make for a difficult choice, for instance, I don't care for "Anal" but I really like "First Time".

As far as particular types of stories. I like to read stories with some sorth of drama.
The kind of genres I'm more into straight sex, anal, group sex, interracial, bdsm, and encounters (my favorite)
I like sex scenes that are very intense, but at the same time there is a meaning behind the story. Something that will have me reading over and over.
Life is all about expressions, you only live once and you're not coming back; so express yourself.

Okay, let me check here... Yes, I am a guy.
I chose Incest/Taboo as my favorite category. My second most favorite is MILF/Interracial.
But my super favorite kind of story is Interracial/Incest/MILF! I'm working on that.
Oddly enough, the only actual incest I ever was involved in was a one-night event with a second cousin in her parent's car.
I didn't develop any interest in incest fantasies until I was nearly 30, and had a GF who HAD been involved in incest, and who taught me how to role-play with her.

Hard to vote the way you have them grouped. I like lesbian but nothing else in that group, some taboo but never incest. I guess my order would be 1, 9, 2, 3, 6, 7, 5. I also like reluctance.

Reluctance is definitely my top choice and for me it generally implies first-time and therefore also one of the other categories. So, for instance, a woman who has her first group sex experience and does so with initial reluctance (even though it later turns her on) would be a situation that I would find interesting. Or a man who is cuckolded and reluctant to be in that situation but who finds himself involuntarily aroused by it, that's another example of how these can all add up.

Incest/Taboo in without a doubt my favorite. My was involved in a incestuous relationship with her grandfather when she was young and it is a real turn on when I can get her to talk about it. I used to really be into Incest stories, but more recently I've been reading a lot of First Time stories. This is partly because I'm thinking of writing one myself, and also because I just love reading about the nerves and emotions involved with losing your virginity. I've read very good stories from nearly all categories, but a lot from Incest and First Time.

The main section I spend time in is Wife Lovers. I prefer it when the married person is very reluctant about cheating but is eventually seduced by another. It's probably the forbidden fruit angle I like. Same with large age gap stories. A young person who unwillingly falls for the charms of someone much older is quite a turn on.

My wife and I are in "The Lifestyle" and both enjoy reading the group sex as well as MILF areas.
