Hey, what does it mean when a girl stands you up and how do you avoid it?
I got stood up 5 times last week, no exaggeration(although 1 was by my friends) and I'm a bit dumbfounded by it

It depends on the situation. However being stood up 5 times in a week shows that you are either disliked by the people you associate with, or... I don't know I just think that is it. Go find some new friends.

What's your definition of "stood up"? have you gotten a call back or any explainations?

I honestly don't know. I've never completely stood anyone up. i may have been forced to cancel at the last minute but never flat out didn't show with so much as a call. I just couldn't be that rude.

Sounds like either these girls just dont like you and are playing with your head, or some friends are playing a joke on you. Either way, think it is time to move on, Find new friends!!!

I've never stood anyone up. I have had to cancel dates, sometimes even at the last minute, but I've always gotten in touch to tell my date why. I've never accepted a date with someone just so they'd quit pestering me either though, so I've never had to look for reasons not to keep a date or stand someone up. Being stood up by friends seems worse to me than being stood up by someone you have a date with. There's really no excuse for that.

Holy Crap! It took you getting stood up more than once to get the clue that she wasn't interested? Nutbag

I thought it was like bad timing or something, besides she agreed to go on 2 more dates after that, both were her idea but she no-showed for both

No one can take advantage of you without your permission. I would say the woman is just jerking your chain, so let it go. As for your friends, if they really are friends, ask them what happened. Maybe the plans were more vague than you realized.

Stand up?

That's comedy in my book

1. Two blondes walk into a building ....... you'd think at least one of them would have seen it.

2. Phone answering machine message - '...If you want to buy marijuana, press the hash key...'

3. A guy walks into the psychiatrist wearing only Clingfilm for shorts. The shrink says, 'Well, I can clearly see you're nuts.'

4. I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.

5. I went to the butchers the other day and I bet him 50 dollars that he couldn't reach the meat off the top shelf. He said, 'No, the steaks are too high.'

I think you mean "Stood Up" xxx

Haha, well played. I heard number 1 slightly different....

Two nuns walked into a bar, the third one ducked.

Good golly after the 2nd time I wouldn't have given her the time of day, what a witch! As for your friend, if he does it often I'd move on that one too.
