Hey I'm going to go shopping for a biki soon but there are so many types. Anyone feel like telling me there favorite type of bikini?

I prefer a halter top and bottoms that hug my hips but don't tie. I'm not a fan of limiting my activities because I am afraid of a woredrobe malfunction.

It really depends on where I am when I'm wearing one. At a pool or the local lake with strangers I like to be a bit more covered, but if it's just friends and me or on vacation I like to just keep the goodies covered. I like this style best.

I refuse to buy a bikini that isn't a halterneck...for the bottoms I like to go pretty modest, small enough to show you're not the size of an elephant, but big enough to leave things to the imagination.

I like a bikini with a lot of coverage if near home and around people who know me. However, if on vacation or with strangers it is all string tie, sliding panels and just cover enough so not arrested.

I like a halter top type. I have to have something with straps to hold up what God gave me. LOL!! Bottoms well around home I like the more average kind. If we're on vaca I'll wear a string bikini. I guess everyone has their own preference. Good luck!

I like mine to be much like the pic that coopruthie posted but the bottom front is much narrower, I think if you shave (like me) have a thin piece of material in the front causes a lot of thoughts and imagination to to flood one's mind. If I'm at a public beach by myself that I'm not familiar with, then I wear a bikini that covers everything extremely well. But honestly if I can be in the nude... I am.

Most of mine are string bikinis (mostly to avoid tan lines) or string tops and low rise bottoms. They are all classic styles though. I hate micro-bikinis, anything padded or push-up, or suits involving metallic colours and tons of flashy metal hard-wear. I usually go for luxe fabrics in solid colours. White string bikinis are my weakness.

I wear many different types of bikinis. It will depend on where I am. If on a public beach wear there are families, usually something semi-conservative, If on vacation in tropics, usually a thong type or some other more revealing type. If at my pool, then maybe very revealing, if anything at all. I love solid bright neon colors ( pinks, greens, purples) but also love white and black too. And I finally found something I dont agree with DD on, I love some metallic colors, but do agree about not liking flashy metal hardware.
I also like very sexy one-piece suits too. Some are even sexier than bikinis.
The bikini JillinJulie has on her post is HOT!

When at a family beach or hotel I still wear a bikini, but something that leaves a great deal to the imagination.
But when on vacation then term too small is deleted from my dictionary.
And then there is a nude beach near the house, which I have been know to visit.
Right bikini for the right occasion or not.

i also change what i like to wear depending on where am but mostly i wear halters and board shorts or short that cover my ass if i'm at home or going swimming
but if i'm really trying to get a tan i go for little hip shorts and the smallest top possible so i can properly

For general wear I love string bikinis cause they are comfortable and are better for tanning (minimal tan lines). I often wear g-string bottoms too to get a more even all-over tan. For swimming in waves or for surfing though I prefer to wear a bikini bottom or thong with a wider band and maybe a halter top because they are less likely to come off in the surf :)

I too have tried all types. I used to wear the string ones when younger. Right now they don't give my big boobs enough support. I like the kind with a bra like top with a little underwire.

Anything that Shanababy wears would be fine with me, but I like the ones that cover enough to make you really wonder just how they would look without it on.
