Mine is actually a drink...I had started writing a couple of years ago using the name Exakta66, because I collect Exakta cameras and was using that name for everything else I did on the net... Then I found out last year that Exakta is an active registered trademark, and thought it best to change it...my girlfriend Nancy suggested the DirtyMartini name, and I agreed it seemed like a good choice...a hint of "dirtiness" without being too dirty... Heck, she likes the drink so much I even wrote her a poem about it... http://www.storiesspace.com/stories/poetry/the-dirty-martini.aspxBtw, I thought we had a similar thread before...but can't find it, so maybe not...

"Lalita" is Sanskrit for "lovely". Fairly_Fairy tends to call me "lovely chickie" more often than not... so that part of the name stuck! Lydia is part of Lydia Kiei-Lynne. She's who I am. I read about a week ago, that a guy who used the word "Speedo" in his username and his web site/blog. Because it was associated with gay and bi-sexual sites, Speedo is now taking him to court. So, good call DM When I first joined, I used the name mystique. I got pm after pm requesting my time to pleasure them, so the very next day, I deleted that account and tried to think of a really fucking ugly name LOL and that is how I became Fugly Not one request for cyber for the first day and only a small handful since then!!!

A silly story.
Many years ago I set up a company in the UK buying the legal bit "off the shelf" and its name was Charmbrights Ltd.
When I wanted to write (after I had retired and the company was closed down) I stuck to that name.

Mine is simple. I am Awen's Mom. I use this screen name for lots of things. It has no sexual meaning. I chose it purely out of habit. Awen is pronounced "A when". It's from lord of the rings, but it was the old english Lady Eowyn in the book. I found awen in the scottish dictionary. Meaning inspiration and poetic muse. I have the symbol for the word it tattooed between my breasts like a pendant. I have sat for 3+ hr tattoo sittings, but that little symbol that took 15 min was my most painful. Fitting I think. Ok, maybe it wasn't so simple :)

Not sure about that but I know it's out there somewhere. I can't seem to find it either. As for me I have been using that name for a long time. I started using it in college when I signed up for an online dating site and continue to use it. I was looking for a name to use and saw a Korn cd so it just kind of clicked from there.

Shibui objects appear to be simple overall but they include subtle details, such as textures, that balance simplicity with complexity. This balance of simplicity and complexity ensures that one does not tire of a shibui object but constantly finds new meanings and enriched beauty that cause its aesthetic value to grow over the years.

Mine is a combination from reading erotic literature. I found that type to be "sensual" and "desirable" so I turned it into "SensualDesires." The "83" is a combination of my two favorite NASCAR drivers.

As many on here know, I have recycled names like crazy. My first one (passionflwer) was a flowery one that made me gag. The second one (lady_Eva) got me into too much trouble during my bdsm research. Next (dreamspinner) I kinda liked, but it wasn't me. So here I am with my regular boring name, and gee...it fits me!

I noticed the word 'swollen' is, not surprisingly, used in quite a lot of Lush stories - and I was hooked !!!
I sometimes worry that I may meet someone in my 'real life' and mistakingly introduce myself by my pseudonym- imagine !!

I wanted to use HumongousDickhead, but it was a bit too close to the truth and fortunately, also in use when I signed up. And, due to the limited number of characters we can use when choosing our own screen name, I could only label myself as that whom I wanted to be, when I grow up. NeedyHungryCodependent1960MustachioedCunt was a few letters too many. In reality, I'm a hunchbacked, pre-operative transvestite - retired (2001) aspiring 2 handicap LPGA pursuant. I also have a few semi-diabolic, anti-social, manic-depressive tendencies, but I almost have them under control 16x7x365 with select self-medications and plenty of booze. I created all my photographs using Poser 5.0, Bryce 5.0 & Adobe 6.0 in 2003. I chose dichotomy over factuality for my Lush personae.

My screen name comes from a nickname I had that derived from haircuts I used to get in high school when I played football and baseball. It gets very hot and humid here in the deep south so a nearly shaved haircut was most comfortable when wearing helmets. I thought about other screen names, maybe something from one of my past lives, Jezebel, Spartacus, Rasputin, Ghengis Khan or Anne Bolyn.
