Musicians are fascinating but what attracts me more are the songs and the song writers

That's what attracts me to someone who has some kind of artistic side. I like the intensity, and you don't often find that with boring conservative guys, guys who aren't in touch with their feelings, or dumb jocks.
Others might be more interested because of the "groupie factor" if it's a popular musician, or a famous artist, but that's never been a draw for me.
Great comment! This is a perfect answer. Thank you for sharing this!

Yes.. I'm attracted to people with music talents.. I had a friend that play me a piano, which is not his speciality. But i guess it's not just coz he plays music, it coz i feel great hearing him play and the fact that he willingly play it for me.. :)

Well I'm a drummer and I'm here to testify that its not all musicians who get the women.
The damn guitarists always get the girls because they are out in front. It takes too much damn time to pack the drums up and then go chat up the chicks.
In all seriousness, there's certainly an energy that women exude when they're in the audience and listening, especially to hand drums like tablas and dumbeks. The base tones create a viscreral reaction at the diaphragm level.

A man with some sort of percussions. Creating those hypnotic beats, making you sway and drift away in your mind. Making you move your body unconsciously and just hmmm. Oh, yes, just like that. Come play me, I'm your drum babe! I suppose anyone who can create magic is interesting. Capture my mind and I'm interested.

I have to agree with an earlier poster in which they stated they more attracted to musicians in classical music. For me it is musicians that are clean cut, actually play an instrument and are not the long hair rock and roll types.
Something about musicians being in tune with the vibes of a woman's sexuality makes them more attractive to me!
Kisses!

I think it was in Cosmo or Playboy where I read playing guitar was one of the sexiest things a man can do to turn on a woman.

Are Females attracted to Musicians more than normal people?
What the fuck is a normal person lol, theres not such thing as normal, and if there is, i dont want to be it! Anyways its not like musicians are endangered species like the Jedi Order or some fuckin thing. Yes being able to play and instrument is definately attractive, but so is being a Fireman, so is being a Dolphin Trainer, so is being a good at dance, so are a comedians or actors, so is being a racing driver. The point is that in order to be found more attractive, you have to do something worthwile with your life, something that doesnt pull you into the flow of current with everybody else, just living life going to work all week and drinking on weekends, the same routine as everybody else. You have to have something or some quality that makes you, you. That doesnt mean being a musician, but just doing something that seperates you from the many. Something as simple as being a little bit different, is very attractive, and being the same as everybody else is boring. But usually i tend to think everybody is different anyway, theres no such thing as normal, theres you, and everybody else. But for the purposes of this discussion, yes being able to play an instrument is very attractive.

swollen wrote:Creative, artistic and sensual. Invariably, a musician is all three - what is there not to love! Over to you Playsit and Mindseye x x Well said Swollen... I realy like what DD said too. Don't forget though that artistically inclined men don't own the corner of creativity and sensuality. Romantic, sensual guys can be found in all walks of life. Also, just because a guy is a musician doesn't make him a sensual lover - I know pleanty of meat-heads who play music. Classical gutarists and bass players do have extreamely tallented fingers that can be used to deliver much pleasure (included also are the keyboard players), and I would imagine musicians who use their mouths to create music could work wonders with their lips

I must say that musicians certainly hold an appeal for me, not above all others, but there is definitely something very attractive about seeing them perform...

Not anymore. I got over that weakness after I dabbled in music for awhile, and dated a couple of wannabe musicians/losers. One of them was actually pretty good... too bad he made a poor human being.

Being a musician, I must admit there have been those times when a girl I've never met has come on to me. Usually at a show. Then there are those who don't give me the time of day. I think when I'm on stage performing, everyone gets to see me and size me up long before I even meet them. So those who are inclined to meet me feel a familiarity or a type of bond with me based on how I perform. Of course, entertaining IS connecting with the audience. The real question is: Would the girls that come on to me at the shows give me the time of day at the grocery store?
