Yes, except I owned the Harley Sprint, and the Lanmbretta both at the same time, from 1975 to 1990, and the Honda from 1991 until last September. So the motorcycles overlap the cars by quite a bit. Also, yoiu have to understand, I got the '57 Chevy in 1963, and have owned vehicles continuously evr since. I am not exactly a youngster. LOL ALso, I did not count cars that I had licensed for fewer than six omnths - there were several others, that I bought, fixed up, drove for a while, then got an offer on that I could not refuse. LOL THere are a couple of Italian and French ones in that mix.
About ten years ago, just for fun, my brother and I counted how many we had owned, lkicensed, and driven between us, and did not count the ones we sold or traded to each other, more than once. The total was 45.
SHit - I am only counting 26 - there shoukld be another one - OH - I remember - after my dad died in 2003, I licensed and drove his old truck for a while - a '66 VW "Dropside" Pickup
Interestingly, the most reliable of the bunch, and the only ones that saw over 250,000 miles were the '57 Chey and the '87 Jaguar. I have 186,000 oin the Geo Tracker - that one will probably last another 100,000. It is pretty easy to work on and keep running.
MY favorites to drive were the Daimler, the Healey 3000, and the Jaguar XJ-6. I'd buy another of any of those ina heartbeat, had I the ready cash. The best off-road vehicles were the Scout and the Geo. Both the Jeep and the Blazer are absoulte crap in seroius rough driving conditions. The Volvos were better on fire trails than either the Jeep or the Blazer. (and the XJ-6 did surprisingly well on unpaved roads, too) I got a few wide-eyed stares in the hills of West Virginia with the Jag, though. LOL

DirtyMartini wrote:You had a regular used car lot, eh DLizze? LOL I just buy really marginal, clapped-out vehicles, for cheap. Then I drive them 'till the wheels fall off, and go get another. Gonna keep the Geo Tracker, though. It is a good "ute", and easy to work on. ONly wish it had a standard transmission. I was never NIASE certified on automatics. 'Course, there's an old adage: The better your off-road vehicle, the farther out you will get stuck.

I've had a few actually... 1970 Pontiac Lemans (a work in progress - just bought it 2yrs ago) 1975 Ford Mustang (still have it) 1980 Chevy Scottsdale 1986 Mazda RX7 (loved that car - I miss it) 1986 Ford Mustang (junk car... just for winter driving) 1989 Ford F150 1993 Ford Ranger XLT (ahhh the memories... ) 2002 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4 (such a pretty little truck - it brought out my inner redneck - big wheels, lots of chrome and painted bright yellow and usually covered in mud) 2009 Hyundai Sonata and I still have 3 of them :D

I've actually not had that many cars - I used to just borrow cars from friends or family and for a long time I lived in the city so I didn't need a car - I was much fitter back then!!
But here's a quick list:
Mini van Peugot 309 (I think) van Ford Escort Volvo brick-shaped car Vauxhall Astra Ford Fiesta Vauxhall Corsa (current) I also have a Motorhome, which is a Fiat FFT - it's pretty fun to drive
But I've driven just about every kind of car and also lorries, tractors, motorbikes and the like...

as I said earlier ... I have only owned 4 (though like most of you, driven lots of different types of vehicles ... including a bayliner with a merc motor, hehehe) But now I am a greenfoot. I gave up my vehicle to reduce my carbon footprint, coming up 3 years now. I rely on transit or carpooling for farther trips. I have discovered that the train is very cool and relaxing (and cheap)! Oh, and my ass and legs stay in fabulous shape for all my walking!

I would love to borrow that one Shibui...they were so darn pretty...and the '67 Mark III's had real windows... I have to say, looking over this list, Lushkins have had some interesting cars... Though, some bring back some memories which aren't all good...I knew someone who had a Healey as well...the exhaust ran under the rear axle, and scraped everything in the road... Then, of course, there were Lucas fuel pumps which ticked in the morning...when they felt like it... And SU carburetors, which looked so damn pretty under the hood...but never stayed in tune... Ah yes...the good old days...
