I used to masturbate maybe once or twice a week before college, and since my freshman year of college in 2009 I have increased my frequency to at least once a day, one or two times a week I do masturbate multiple times during the day.

Having been here on Lush for 3 years I'd have sworn I commented on this topic before - seems not so. I used to masturbate regularly ... maybe twice a day but certainly when I woke up and probably when I went to bed ... maybe on occasion in between. Now I'm in a relationship it's seldom but it's still as nice.
Just reading through 5 pages of people who've replied on this topic over 3 years, seems to me there's a hell of a lot of kinetic energy used during masturbation and a lot more during full sex. Multiply that by the two billion people on this planet - if it was possible to calculate - the energy expended would surely be enough - if harnessed - to more than supply our energy resources and be perhaps the most 'green' source of power on the planet. Scientists please note.
