The response isn't as straight-forward as one would think. So, let me try to enlighten:
1)
Most guys like watching it, obviously. There are lots of reasons for it. I think the most common basic reason is that for guys who like women, it's like getting a two-fer -- watching two women is double the fun as watching one woman. I'm talking in generalities, so everyone is going to have a different answer if you ask them individually. But, I think you will find that most answers (not all) will revolve around that point in some fashion.
2)
The IDEA of a girl actually physically eating out another girl or doing other things together is not what attracts a guy to girl/girl action.
What attracts a typical guy to girl/girl action is that the guy now has two girls that he can fuck. The girl/girl action, to him, is just foreplay for him. It's totally self-centered, but it's the reality for most guys you will encounter.
In conclusion:
So, now you understand why guys say they love girl/girl action but may not actually be all that enthused about the reality of it. They like the look of it but the execution isn't exactly what attracts them. What attracts them is the fact that they have the opportunity to stick their dick in two pussies, two mouths, and cum all over two women at the same time.
Again, I'm talking in generalities so the actual answer will be different for each individual guy. I'd say that if you asked a lot of guys and you really thought about their answer, you'd find their answers would basically revolve around what I said in the previous paragraph.
Other types of guys:
There are other guys, like me, who have the opposite approach. I actually fantasize about the actual girls themselves getting it on with each other. I don't even have to touch them.
